Dear Alex, I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the impact you have had on my career. As an environmental engineer, I was not familiar with the world of data analysis until I stumbled upon your UA-cam channel. Your tutorials and insights inspired me to learn more and upgrade my skills in this field. Since then, I have been dedicated to improving my knowledge and have pursued various opportunities to work as a data analyst. Recently, I was fortunate enough to secure an internship in France where I will be analyzing environmental data. This opportunity has been made possible because of the foundation of knowledge that you helped me build. I cannot thank you enough for the impact you have had on my career. Your dedication to sharing your knowledge and experience has had a ripple effect on my life, and I am sure on many others as well. I will continue to follow your channel and learn from your insights. Thank you once again.
finally a python for beginners video that actually starts at the very beginning. almost every other video assumes the viewer already has this setup, and just goes right into doing stuff on software i dont even have downloaded yet!
Brooooo!!!!!! you wouldn't believe i just took a break from my coursera because i couldn't figure out the python classes and guess who i turn to, it's your videos putting me through once again and I just want to say a big thank you because I can't even tell you how happy this makes me. thank you sooo much Alex, thank you so much!!!!
Alex I been following you for a while. I have been watching video after video to figure out how to get my jupyter lab download to work properly. Something told me to see of you had something and you never fail to have a solution. I was able to get my first internship thanks to your videos and lessons. Thank you for all of your hard work!
I am beyond thankful for you. I was overwhelmed and ready to give up on becoming a data analyst. But your energy and positivity and well paced explanations made me feel like I do actually have a shot at this. Don't know where I'd be without your content. What amazing timing too for this python tutorial to drop, right as I'm wanting to learn it but was again overwhelmed. It's just like having a great school teacher/professor, then it's also on demand and rewindable! And free! You're providing hope to me and so many others, don't stop now! Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.....!!!!!!!!!
Watching this tutorial a year after the video was made, and Jupyter Notebook's interface is quite different now. All of the flow is still there, so this is still super helpful. Just wild how quickly things evolve...
Why do so many Jupyter Notebooks tutorials on UA-cam start by installing Anaconda? It's possible to install and run Jupyter Notebook and Jupyter Lab using pip. There is also a means of running virtual environments called venv.
Thanks Alex .. As others have rightfully pointed out.. the video is simplified and gives confidence to the beginner who is trying to catch hold of python !
Thank you for your video. I am a beginner and struggled lot to get in this world. With this video, I am getting some clarity. I am a "zero" aiming to become a "hero" in future.
Hi Alex, someone recommended your channel for me to learn data analysis. I am almost done learning. Thank you very much. My only challenge now is a laptop, mine spoilt i can't afford a new one.
Hi Alex, thanks for consistently putting out great content 😊 I'd love to see some content about processing your career within data analytics once you've landed your first data job. I've worked as a data analyst for over a year now and I'm not sure how to make my next move up the ladder.
@@AlexTheAnalysthi Alex I’m struggling to install some libraries such as lasio , missingno. I tried the command (!pip install the libraries name) but it’s not working could you please help me out. Thank you , your content are game changer.
Hi Alex, I am writing this message on 30th October 2024. I had a lot of issues trying to install Anaconda on my laptop. Starting with finding the downloading page. May be your intro on downloading could be more expanded to include the most updated information. Thanks.
I was eager to get started, but immediately hit a wall installing this on my Macbook M1 with Ventura. I'll keep digging, but its just an FYI. I guess "getting started" will have to wait.
Hey Alex, Love your videos by the way. They've helped me tremendously with my first data analysis projects. Quick question: If I already have Python installed on my system, should I remove it before installing Anaconda? I've read mixed reviews as to whether it's recommended or not. I'm just worried about running into errors since I have Python already installed and it is in my PATH variables. But also, would it be best practice anyway to save on storage by uninstalling the original Python before installing Anaconda? Thanks for taking the time to read this! I look forward to your response!
Awesome video ! Thanks. One Ques: Do you need to download python first (or anything) before I do the instructions you show? Or can I just follow your instructions and python will run on jupyter Notebk?
Can you do more intermediate videos on Python for this bootcamp? You go into Python for beginners, and I haven't watched the entirety of your Python project videos on this playlist, but I would appreciate python projects more geared towards data analytics on here.
@Alex The Analyst looking forward to it, I'm trying to do a personal project for my 3rd project on my resume for Python with a healthcare dataset I found on Kaggle. I've gotten to the cleaning portion mostly using chat gpt, but watching your videos has helped me to understand what the code is doing.

Dear Alex, thank you for this video. I wanted to ask, is there a way I can access my notebook from different devices? How could I link it to my anaconda account so I can open it in different devices?
thank you ! I wanted to ask, what is the effect of you checking "Register anaconda3 as my default Python 3.9"? I'm not sure how this affects the running of other IDEs like Spyder, pycharm, etc for example. What does it mean "autiomatically detect anaconda as my primary python 3"? thanks
Hi Alex, I have installed anaconda navigator, while launching jupyter notebook an error is encountered as [Errno 13] Permission denied Could please assist on this issue and your assistance would be great for others who has same issue Hope expecting your assistance on the same
