  • British parliamentarians returned to work on Wednesday, a day after the nation's highest court decreed that Prime Minister Boris Johnson's controversial five-week suspension of parliament was unlawful.
In a unanimous verdict, the 11 justices at the United Kingdom's Supreme Court ruled that Parliament had effectively not been prorogued, upholding the decision by the Scottish court of appeal in Edinburgh on September 11, paving the way for the House of Commons to resume at 11:30am (10:30 GMT) on Wednesday.

Oh, I recall the then PM Johnson denying that the prorogation had anything at all to do with Brexit.
It was taken to court by MP's, and the supreme court declared illegal. All of a sudden when the parliament reopenrd 2 weeks earlier than Johnson planned, then Attourney General and other No Deal brexit extremists suddenly accused opposition parties of trying to halt Brexit.
So if the prorogation wasn't all about ramming through a No Deal Brexit on October 31st 2019, how did the then Attourney General know that opposition MP's went to court to try to stop No Deal after then PM Johnson previously denied that the prorogation had anything at all to do with ramming through a No Deal brexit.
Yes Johnson made sure that the prorogation end date was 2 or 3 weeks before the intended No Deal date rather than the prorogation overlapping it to make it appear that it wasn't about achieving No Deal, but everybody in the right mind knew that from the intended return date of parliament and the intended date of No Deal that there wouldn't have been enough time for parliament to stop No Deal.

Yes. Of course it was all about Johnson ramming through a No Deal Brexit on October 31st 2019 despite him being completely in denial over it. He would never have prorogued parliament at that had getting Brexit through not been an issue.
Bercow had to out up with a load of drunken swivel eyed spivs on the tory benches every day a week despite him being a tory MP himself. Shouting order order at abusive tory MP's constantly swearing out to completely disrupt proceedings doesn't make Bercow a bully.
