Great video, thank you! I do agree that single-string playing can be just the right paradigm shift away from the across-the-neck 'box' approach. At least it has been for me. When I was very young and first learning guitar, I would take any bit of information I'd heard, read, or seen as literal truth, as if that was the only thing on a particular topic that I had to learn and diligently practice over and over. So I kept accumulating all these tidbits of information but never learned how to connect them - or even step outside them. But I guess we've all had these little crazy things we've done. Cheers!
