That's awesome my friend I am your big fan your all paintings are awesome and this one is superb 👍 I am impressed with your videos 👍 stay continue my friend 👍
No, it's not necessary to use retarder. I don't use any retarder at all. I simply use water mist spray on my palette to keep my paint moist. It works. Thank you so much for watching 😊🙏
Yes. I am a full time artist since last 4 years. Actually the price of a painting depends on your effort, skill level, time taken, your customer and many factors. I'll try to cover it in future. 👍😊
Can you kindly do a video on art supplies by mentioning Example: for eyes what kind of brushes For hair etc... Whatever art supplies you use for ur paintings Kindly do a video on it with brand of the products So that v can buy and practice as per ur tutorials Thank you sir
@@DebojyotiBoruahArt It reminds me of old comics printed on newsprint; when they only used like four colors. The characters with black hair always had a bit of blue in them for the shine :)
W O W. I found your videos and already watched several, as a beginner portrait painter, they are very useful and inspirational. Thank you for great tutorial. You are amazing!
While blending do you use a brush with no paint on it or do you just continue with the paint that was already on the brush? Bascaily how do you blend so smoothly? Ps that looks AMAZING
Yes, I use a permanent marker to make my sketch even prominent. I don't use any extra medium or retarder for my acrylic painting. Sometimes I use gesso for additional textures before starting the process. Thank you.
But painting is sooooo hard... I can make master piece with pencils but I can't even paint faces with paints... That's horrible, frustrating, depressing...
Glad to know that you are an artist. You should paint with the medium you love to paint with. I too love pencil. It's a great medium to draw. Thank you so much for watching 😊
Very good tutorial. I do pop art portraits and will gradually switch over to real portraits. I find your techniques very good. Hopefully it will help me as well. Keep up the good work
I love your videos ❤️ it is too helpful for me. Can you please tell me which kind of paper you used for these kind of painting and can I use the water colour paper for this painting
Ofcourse you can use watercolor paper. Go for 300 gsm or higher. You can use acrylic paper too. I am using it in few of my recent videos. Thank you so much for your appreciation 🙏😊
I notice that you often begin with mid tones and even some light tones as opposed to the traditional "start dark end light" method. Do you find this to be helpful with acrylics due to the fast drying time? I have always painted in oil and have just recently moved to acrylic to reduce fume induced migraines. I am enjoying acrylic but I don't find it as easy as oil.
Yes Amanda, it's extremely helpful when you start with a middle tone with acrylics. Just think about painting on a toned paper with charcoal and white chalk. As simple as that. Good to know that you are switching to acrylics. It's easier that you think. But have overcome the procedure of oil painting methods. Here premixing of colors may not work for you. Instead work on layers made with freshly made colors each time. I don't use retarder at all, instead I use water mist spray on my palette to keep it moist. If you wish, you can JOIN my channel for REAL-TIME longer versions of my videos. Have a great day 😊 Good luck 👍
Do we need to add water to acrylic paint? Or can we use it directly? Does it looks shiny after it done? I am new to this medium. Please share your experience.
You can use acrylic with or without water. It's up to your need. For shine you can apply varnish. You should try it for better understanding of the medium. Thank you so much for watching 😊

I mostly use limited colors for most of my paintings. I prefer one earth color like Burnt Umber, and three primary colors Ultramarine Blue, Cadmium Yellow Medium, Scarlet Lake with Titanium White. Sometimes I use specific colors like Cobalt Blue, Orange, Ochre, Sienna, Crimson etc for some special occasions. Thank you.
It takes different time frame according to the subject. This takes around 6 hours. It's absolutely ok to paint over dried paint. It's actually a process called layering. Thank you so much for your comment 🙏😊
