Beginning with biblical study, you can begin to understand God's plan for your life and find the direction you need to take to achieve your dreams. Alex, I am going into a summer camp soon, this camp has no christian influence and I believe I will come across some people who have never heard of Jesus. This could be my only chance to reach these people and I need your help. I understand you prioritize living an unhurried lifestyle. However, I ask that you would either make a video or have a conversation with me in the next month or two, about sharing the gospel at a young age, and how to reach people in general. Aside from that I love your online ministry and I deeply resonate with your thoughts and beliefs. I pray that one day I would be blessed enough to become a father and a leader like you. If you see this I also have a lot of questions about growing up in faith as a boy without a father figure.
I’ve been doing a lot of praying lately and digging into the word and listening to Christians who are much further along in their journey than me, because this is something I have been trying to figure out as well. Some things that I’ve considered, and I’m not a very mature Christian, is this: it’s faith that allows us to do anything. Faith in Jesus Christ that he will accomplish His will through you because it’s not you who are speaking to people and saving them, it is the gospel and Jesus Christ working through you that saves. Let God be your ultimate treasure, having full faith in Him in everything that is in your life and every situation, and His will is going to be done.

@@romanlee6003 I actually just started to witness to strangers. Not all the time, but I usually go out with other Christians when I do it. Pray earnestly, once your in the the convo it’s not the bad. Be intentional, share the whole gospel, it’s easy to rush it. You’ll do more harm by sharing only a part of it. You kind of have to do the work here, it might be a little scary at first.

I watched this video a couple of weeks ago, and right after watching it I was inspired to write something and I wanted to share it here. It’s message is about focusing on God. First I want to thank you Alex for willingly letting God use you, you’re a blessing to many. Second, I just pray that this encourages whoever takes time to read it (warning: it is kind of long).
To concentrate, or focus, is to give my undivided attention. Not some, or even most, but all. To give all my attention to God is nothing less than what He deserves. But how can I focus on Him? I can pray. I can pray all throughout the day. And when I pray, it shouldn’t just be me talking endlessly. I need to listen to what God has to say to me. I need to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger. I need to listen to God’s words and instructions. I need to be slow to speak so that I don’t talk over Him. And I need to be slow to anger so that my emotions don’t distract me or prevent me from hearing and obeying what God says.
When I concentrate on God, it means that I’m not focused on people. People may be proud of me or encourage me, but that’s not what I need to listen to. Instead, I want to know how God feels and what He thinks. What makes Him happy, excited, and proud? What is it that God wants me to try or do? Where is it that God is leading me, and what does He want me to do there? Who is it that He wants me to develop a relationship with or talk to, and for what purpose? How does God want to use me to bring glory to His Name? If I really want to concentrate on my King, then I need to ask these questions everyday. And everyday, I need to listen when He answers.
It would be a lot harder for me to hear someone if we were at a concert or party than if we were alone together in a quiet room. And it’s hard to hear God when I’m caught up in the world and rushing through life. So it’s good to take time alone with God, and to just listen. I want hear what God says and to pay attention to what He reveals to me in the quietness and the stillness.
I don’t always want to hear what others are telling me. But that’s often when I need to listen the most. I can’t choose to only listen to God when He’s directing me to do something that I already have a desire to do. I also have to be obedient when His commands are difficult, uncomfortable, or elicit a level of fear. He may lead me away from people that I love, and to people that I wouldn’t have chosen to be involved with. He may lead me away from a situation that I thought was good, and into a situation that looks threatening. It often won’t be an easy process, but I just have to trust my King. I have to trust in His faithfulness and in His love for me.
I shouldn’t make my plans and then try to insert God into them. Instead, I should make God my central focus and then let Him direct me. If I put God first, to serve Him and to bring Him glory, then He will put my path in order; jobs, people, hobbies and activities, etc.
Concentration requires the removal of distractions. Who is my distraction? Who actively tries to lead me away from my Heavenly Father, and who do I tend to focus on or value more than God? What consumes my attention? What do I turn to in my free time? What do I do or turn to when I need an outlet for my stress, anger, or happiness? Why do I value and spend so much of my time with these people or doing these things? And how am I going to let them go?
When God puts me in different situations or when He puts different people in my life, I can’t just continue to do my own thing. God has a reason for everything, and He has a purpose for everyone. I have to pray and ask God what my role/purpose is in that situation, and when He answers me, I won’t hesitate or resist what He tells me to do.
God has a purpose for yours and my life. We have to find that purpose and live it out fully, freely, and without any hesitation. The first step? Concentrate on the King.

God The Father Loves you, Jesus Christ The Son Loves you, And The Holy Spirit Loves you
I will concentrate on the King by being slower and quieter. Lately I’ve been moving by my feelings and I want to live by faith. I’m 21 and I feel like I’m missing out at times when I know I’m happier reading my word and encountering God’s beautiful message and love. By going slower and being grateful for those still voices he sends me makes me not so quick to run to the worlds idea of what I’m suppose to be doing.

I always used to compare my gifts to other because in the back of my head I was like 'God said we're to be bold' and I always evangelists preaching on the road in mass crowds and stuff like that and I'm like 'Is that what God wants me to do?'. I prayed about it and then God showed me that my gift is encouragement, He said for me it is to focus on individuals instead of mass crowds all at once because individuals is where I'm most effective. I enjoy public speeches don't get me wrong but He said my main calling in individual encouragement to others and telling them of His glory.

I love that. I want to be a Spanish teacher to impact the youth in a Christian way. However, I’ve had so many people tell me don’t do it because of the money.
I know that I can’t worship both money and God, so sometimes I can’t listen to society. I had to talk to God alone, and concentrate to hear his repeated calling.
His*, also take it from God he knows best, if you do need finances still pursue God, and choose his calling remember Matthew 6:33 we need to live righteously and all things will be given He will provide all we need at the right time❤🎉

recently deleted my socials & i pray for discipline to focus on Jesus for 1 month & longer if lead. in Jesus name❤️ no outside forces or voices, just me & Jesus

@@TboneWTF It’s allowed me to focus on everyday life. it’s also caused me to stop having so many “expectations” or “deadlines” for myself and take life day by day. Seeing people do things by a certain age can have an unconscious effect over someone if you don’t fully know yourself. It’s helped me to know who I am and not who I want to show on social media or be perceived as. I feel more free living in reality than on social media. It’s helped me to just be a human being and live in reality and focus on me and not what everyone else is doing.

I will concentrate on the King by seeking His kingdom and righteousness first (Matthew 6:33) and by meditating on His Word daily.

I'm 18 and was prophesied for ministry when I was a small child by church member at New Hope in Oahu. My family moved to Texas when I was 7 and I began to realize that I had gifts for writing and music, I also loved art. Writing and singing were the only things my parents ever sincerely told me I was good at, but I got caught up with life and an extremely toxic household, so much so that I put down writing. I remember some times where God used me to preach the gospel and encourage those around me, despite being so young. However, I got distracted and caught up in a masculine mindset, having been taught that roughness and laborious work was the only acceptable way to live and be. I tried to join the marines but couldn't for health reasons, so I went to trade school to be an auto technician. I really thought that was what I would do for the majority of my life. Much to my surprise, in true Savior fashion, God spoke to me through the closing of some doors, and I recommitted my life and career to Him. It kinda sucks that I'm 30k down for a career I won't be focusing on, but His way is so much better. I told Him that I would put down my own desires and plans in favor of His purpose for my life. I've been spending more time with Him and His Word, and I realized that none of my own fleshly desires matter at all. TLDR; I'm finally back on track and I'm going to be attending Bayside College online. All the glory is His. It's amazing that the King of Kings would want anything to do with me, let alone use me for the advancement of His glorious kingdom.
Your best bet at succeeding in life is to go to a university and get a higher education. Don't limit your choices until after college. Good luck.

If I'm understanding right, I must pay close attention to my King by focusing on His life in being obedient like He was obedient to the Heavenly Father's call. I focus on the King by removing all distraction from my life such as shows and social media and people who are not helping me to grow in Christ. I make it an determination to spend intimate time with the Lord

In every story of the Bible it seems to me that it is God that showed up and presented a person their calling. They did absolutely nothing. They were going about their lives when God showed up and revealed to them a set of instructions. I need for Him, Yah Almighty, to do this for me. Especially as in the story of Gideon. I’ve done all that I know to do. I just need Him to show up and reveal my identity/calling/purpose.
I think concentrating on the King is filling yourself up/feeding yourself with the things of God such as Constant Prayer, Bible reading and Studying, listening to music that glorifies God, being careful with what we watch and listen to, and praying for + looking for ways to glorify God while working/studying and hobbies.

God is so good. He led me here and what you said about having a covetous heart is hard to hear but it is the truth. I know that I need to be in His Word every single day. I know that by reading His Word, praying for his guidance, seeking him in all do, mediating on his glory and majesty, that is the only way I can remain close to him. And if I'm not close to Him then everything I'm doing is in vain because I'm not glorifying Him. I feel like a hamster in wheel going non-stop but never actually accomplishing anything that matters to Him. Thank you for making this, and thank you Lord Jesus for never leaving us even when we stray from you. I am not worthy but I am so thankful that His love never ends.
Thanks Alex. This is so timely for me. I was a fake/cool Christian for a long time. I recently gave my life to Christ but before that tried to pursue my purpose but never heard a clear call. Dude Alex God is using in awesome ways. I’m not the type to usually comment or be overly emotional about “spiritual events” but seriously dude this video has come at the perfectly perfect time. I’m in high-school and recently I’ve been struggling with how to walk in Gods plan for me while still finding my “purpose” in career or future choice. This video has already helped me out so much by just amplifying what I think God has been speaking to me recently. Dude you are being used by God in such awesome ways in not only my life but obviously I’m the lives of others so please keep firmly following whatever God has called you to. Also never be moved by different view counts in your videos, not sure if that ever discourages you but sometimes it’s easy to look at the number and see it as our “value” to others online. Consistency and sincerity are key in this game even more over following a trend or juicy video idea for “better” content. I believe that each of us is made unique because we were not an accident right? That means, our existence into the world was well thought out by God. He gave us unique gifts - talents that we could use to 'concentrate to the King' and proclaim the good news. I think that in order to concentrate on the King, we must concentrate on the talents that God has given us - mold them and use them in order to not just serve or help other people but to let them know that there is a God that takes care of them; and that through our works, we minister God's power, imminence, and love for all His children.
Wow God is so good! I pray over everyone watching this and that they find purpose and live for Jesus. Recently I lost my Love…it hurt so so so much and it hurts now, but I believe in Jesus!!!
I will focus on God by not letting the world influence the way I perceive God and also trust God and his validation

The Lord led me to finding a few of your videos today, and each one has shown to be absolutely targeted to what I'm dealing with. This one especially, finding my calling. While all my friends and family seem to be getting their ducks in a row, I've been waiting and hoping for new growth. But I'm starting to think my need for progress is based on the success of my neighbor and not on the success of God and His Kingdom. I'll be praying now, asking God how I can concentrate on the King.
