I mean the game is just putting the sprites into motion, so any real animation is done ingame.

@@honeyjuice219 they didn't animate it, the game already has self prepared animations, what they edited were numerous sprites on one sheet, and the game automatically thinks that those were the original sprites and animates them anyway.

The game is made of sprites. Then, they're distorted, rotated, etc. to make it look animated. In this case, the sprites were redrawn, but the motion is still kept.
