A thief at Kirrin cottage, but who can it be? Snowed in and stuck with lessons from a tutor over their holidays, the Famous Five think they know, but need proof! Then they find an old map in an unusual hiding place showing a secret passage .
It is abridged by Derek Webb and Phil Evans with a 56 minute running time, the story still works well with enough tension and drama. These shorter dramatizations are ideal for 'reading' in a single sitting and are great for relaxing bedtime, or car journeys with kids. Recorded/released by Hodder Children's Audiobooks, performed by Nick McArdle, Judy Bennett and Eric Flynn; with Henry Marsh as Julian, Jack Shute as Dick, Scarlett Strallen as George, and Ellie Bevan as Anne.
This is shared from a recording of a cassette tape, so lots of old-fashioned tape noises, but still listenable and an enjoyable telling for childhood nostalgia and relaxation or for excitement in new generation of imaginative listeners.

I used to listen to this on a cd every night and i just had a sudden need to hear it again but my cd now starts skipping at the point where Mr Roland says to wait a week before letting Timmy back inside. Thank you so much for putting it on here.
One of the first I ever heard ahhn in 1999 I remember it so well carrying around my Walkman on holiday with my dad walking through woods listening to this. Car rides with it on to and playing it in bed. Also remember my grandad ( papa) listening to.these with me and watching thr episodes on video Just love listening to these what memories

ok so don’t know if op will see this but whilst i’m only 16 i had these audio books including the secret seven when i was younger on my ipad nano and i was obsessed with them i’ve tried looking for them online for ages and haven’t been able to find them until now seriously thank you so much i almost cried when i heard that music it reminded me so much of my childhood thank you so much!
