Exploring SAYULITA, MEXICO | A Great Place to Chillax
Here's the next video in which I hiked out to the remote beach: ua-cam.com/video/1x0Uvq6BWZ4/v-deo.html
I'm 77th😁. Love when your videos focus on off the beaten track places. Everyone is broadcasting the super touristy places, i like discovering the places few tourists seem to know. 😁
That place exists? It looks like a living painting. beautiful. the background music. It could not be better!
Excellent.
I’m going there on tuesday
Already been there twice
And yes it is a beautiful living painting
yah very good choice of music indeed.
I can’t wait to see what other treasures you discover in Mexico. Thank you for sharing! Keep living the Pure Life 🏝🔆
With no trips until July I can’t even begin to tell you how jealous this video makes me lol. I could really use some delicious Mexican food, a couple of cervezas, and a few days hanging out on the beach. Gabriel made the right career decision and I clearly did not🤣😂
Mind you if everyone was on vacation, civilization would grind to a halt.
i feel the same my trip starts in June,...off to Asia
@@jeshappysmiles9364 Mine starts in june too but going to italy. Where in Asia are you going?
@@InfamousCrimeLocations Taiwan for 90 days; then i meet my sister Portugal for 30 days; travel a few more countries ( 50 days in Europe) than my sista return back to Canada and i go back to Asia and travel about
Great beaches , beautiful weather yummy food. And you are having all the fun . I Wish I was in Mexico too..... . . 🌴
Nothing in life comapres to Gabes frolicking about in the waves.
Mexico is so full of fun & inexpensive adventures. There are so many nice beaches and mountain towns and each with unique regional food.
looks like such a nice, extremely chillaxin little Mexican beach town!
Beautiful beach and colorful town. I liked that graveyard. I always look for a graveyard when I visit someplace new.
Beautiful beach and cute town, I love all the bright colors!
more more!!! i love this i wish but im disabled with artbritis i admire your bravery and endurance. more!!!!
You should head to Baja sur if you have the chance. Playa balandra is awesome there
Enjoy 😉 what you have. Where you are I say
Yes Playa Balandra is one of my favorite places too! Saludos amigo.
I love the Mexican videos, thanks.
Hi Gabriel! This video was awesome!!! The little village is so cute! Your salad looked amazing! Oh my gosh!! That water was so blue and I bet it was very cold.. Loved the little red VW Bug..😁 I own 2 pairs of Chaco Sandals! Love them and a must when walking on pebbles and rocks and I wear them in the ocean. Reason being I'm a diabetic.. I envy you right now..😁 keep on keeping on Gabriel...Stay safe and I bid you peace!🌺😁
Great, glad you enjoyed. Those were chicken nachos and it was huge and delicious. The water here is perfect, not too cold luckily. Warmer than California.
👍 9 years of videos I've gotta watch. I'll be here for awhile.
Have fun!
Sayulita is cool for a few nights stay or a whole day visit. Just an FYI....north and an easy 20-minute drive away are quieter beaches and no beach vendors in La Penita de Jaltemba, Nayarit. Great, clean ocean waters with no undertow -- ideal for body surfing. But if you wish to surf, hit the small beach town of Chacala -- another 20 min. drive further north from La Penita. Great food and shops in the La Penita district as well. Cheers!
The beaches in mexico are stunning... i have travelled around the tulum side of mexico and its truely amazing. I so want to go check out the pacific side aswell one day. This year i am spending just over a month in the dominican republic which is just heaven for beach lovers.
Another day in paradise
I watch this before I go to bed so that hopefully I can dream that I'm there
🌷🌸💕have fun happy Easter week💕🌷🌸
Its one of the best if not the best with san pacho beaches of the mexican west coast... reason why you cant see much under water is because its a surf beach side.... waves are really choppy and the ocean is really active really mixes all the sand constantly
The sun is blazing trew my screen . Feel like I get a tan too. What a life on beach this what life is about man.
Love Sayulita. There are tons of hidden beaches.
Be careful of rip tides when swimming like that
Absolutely Beautiful 🌞☀️🌞 thank you Gabriel ❤😊
The whole coast looks amazing around that area. It's like one long beach between the towns.
Regarding the water... Apparently it's a lot clearer on the east side. Especially in the South East.
Yeah, the Pacific Side of Mex is usually not really worthy of Snorkeling, except the Islands outside of the Bay of Banderas.
Wow such a unique and beautiful place 👀💚💚💚
What a lovely little town!
Gabriel Traveler it's another stunning vlogs and beautiful beach💖😍🏖️👌🌞
Thanks Alexia. :)
Looks a lot more enjoyable than Portland!
I feel like I'm watching the latest installment of Beach Aficionado or Playa Aficionado - another word that's easy to learn in Spanish because it is Spanish - in the capable hands & camera of Gabriel Morris, International Beach Connoisseur (boy, we just can't stop stealing from other languages). :)
This vid deserves so many more views!
Just like many other places, it has been built up a lot. Used to be super quiet, with a couple low key hotels. Everyone was SO NICE then. The surf not too crowded, either. Maybe they still are.
You make Mexico a possibility to visit, thanks
Beautiful beach 🏖 wow best I have seen La playa !
I'm not sure why every time I hear South America music I feel like dancing. 🙌
Mexico is in North America
this place looks awesome
👍👍👍👍Ciao... Gabriel... Very nice place... Thanks for the video... Great... Viva Mexico 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽... And.. viva Gabriel... 🌹🌹🌹🌹
5:06 We have some of the best crystal clear sea waters in the world. That's for sure! Hola from Greece.
Definitely. I'll be back!
You are welcome anytime.
Tell he goes to the Baja California peninsula, the Mayan Riviera he is gonna say these are the best beaches in the would There is a reason why Mexico is in 6th place in international tourism behind France, Spain, USA, China, Italy, & Mexico Greece does not apear not even in the 25 countries most visited by international tourism Greetings from Santa Monica, California, USA
@@ricardomartinez4341 This has nothing to do with the quality of the Greek seas. Greek islands have some of the best beaches in the whole world.
Nice looking place and you have to love the beach.. Shame the water isn't very clear.... and as they say in Mexico.. SAYULITA (See you Later) ... Safe Travels..
I was beginning to think you lost your expensive sandals, but you wisely put them on near the end walking on that pebbly beach. This place is definitely chillsville. And this must be the perfect time to visit as the beaches and restaurants and the streets are still lively but not overcrowded and unbearable as during the height of tourist season. As you say, it's not the Mediterranean but then Mexico is close (if you're a Canadian or American) and much cheaper. Watching this video definitely reduced my stress level. Thanks, Gabriel. I want more!
what's all the hype over the Mediterranean , overcrowded in summer and cold in winter ?
Been there done that. Over the bluff. But you can walk through the jungle all the way to San Pancho (Frisco)
I needed a nap after watching this!
WOW. So beautiful Gabe.
😎Hola Compadre Gabriel, Some serious El Wave Choppo here!
Very interesting community Gabe. Pretty nice beaches too! Enjoy!
Have you heard of the hidden beach of islas marietas? 😳
Where is that in Mexico? 🤔
Edit: You are very close to it! You gonna check it out by boat? 😳
Just checked it out, looks really cool. I'll see.
Good snorkeling out there.
Excellent job!
Nice place, I think I will spend 2 weeks lying on the beach. Nice Video!!!
Yep, looks cool.
Nice beaches, not to busy this time👍
Lovely little village.
Felicidades por tu video y si está muy bonita esta playa 🏖 ya que la conozco y soy de puerto Vallarta explora más en bahía de banderas también tenemos playas que a la fecha son vírgenes las playas congratulations for you video ok 👌
I was there in the 1990s. It was a tiny village. How are they handling the sewage treatment?
Good question, no idea. Hopefully they're handling it. I heard there was a big problem at one point, not sure of the latest. I didn't get sick at least.
Great video Gabe I relax and enjoy your videos
away from the sunbeds! YAY!
I’m actually going there in July. Gonna go there and few other towns!!
WOW , Whish i was there with you ! It looks awesome ! I guess i cancel my Gran Canaria trip , and book a trip to Sayulita ! XD
Gran Canaria is awesome as well.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos Indeed , Gran Canaria is awesome ! i have a apartment in Puerto Rico , i go there 3 times a years , but within 7 years i'm staying there !
,😎Hola Compadre Gabriel, Some MAUI type Wave action going on here !
Really awesome...👍👍🤛
Thanks.
Welcome to Mexico Gabriel 👌🏼😍😘
you have to invite him somewhere ;D
The problem is that I am living in Tijuana ☺️
@@pisispsicodelia7070 and now he knows where to go next ;D
Jajajajaja sure welcome to Tijuana everybody
I was there around 3-4 weeks ago, that nice looking stream you walked through running into the sea is from a waste treatment facility, basically almost raw sewage. I got sick there for 3 days out of my 4 day trip. 100% of people i met and spoke to were also sick at some point, you were very luck not to get sick. Its a great little village but certinaly wont be going back in a hurry just yet, even the surf shops were saying not to swim in the sea at the main beach.
That's pretty messed up. Fortunately I never swam at the main beach and I was fine.
I recommend you Mexcaltitlán Islan, is near to there, is the Mexican origin, is from the Mexicans (aztecs) start the trip to look for their sacred place to live.
Happy for Gabe, but who else was hoping he would talk to the single girl at 2:04?! Have a blast!
lol there was a towel down beside her... her lover just went to take a dump.
The country of Mexico from what I understand, owns the beach 60 feet inland from high tide, so you can walk along the shore anywhere the terrain allows within those 60 feet. If I'm wrong someone let me know, this is what I was told by a realtor.
I was there a month ago and I loved it
Cool.
oh geez id love to be on that beach!
Very bright colors! Which gear do you use? Really nice video!
Thanks. I'm filming with the GoPro Hero 7 Black now. That's all. No gimbal or selfie stick or anything. I edit on my laptop with Videopad. Glad it's looking good.
Yeah it looks really nice! 😊
I love my country ❤
Why the heck would they ever want to leave?! Looks super chill there!
can you start telling us what airline you use and how you find your tickets? are there any you avoid?
you should buy some water shoes for your travels, cheap and easy for pebbly shell beaches
Good idea.
Beautiful ☀️ day there
Hooray for the hippies beating drums on the beach!
Looks beautiful..love the white sand and not crowded..
You need to start carrying snacks of some sort...I always have nuts and a banana ...some kind of protein and water just in case
You need to wear hiking boots on those rocks
My friends and I will be heading to PV in a couple of weeks. We will also be going to Sayulita. I read Uber drivers and taxis get into a bit rough. Have you witnessed anything? I wouldn’t mind taking a bus there but not sure how my friends feel about that. I’m thinking it would be a no go for one. BTW I love your videos.
Here's my video about the bus trip getting there: ua-cam.com/video/lnpY8_0QGr4/v-deo.html The buses work fine but I'm sure Uber would be good as well, faster and comfier.
Dang this is sick I’m visiting next week
Gabriel how you like sayulita? You need to go to Islas marietas, that’s a nice spot too.
The playa de los muertos I remember is in Puerto Vallarta...perhaps there is more than one?
Yes, I stayed right by Playa de los Muertos in PV, but the one near Sayulita is different.
Cheers bro
Has anyone bee there in June/July? Just wanted to know how crowded it is. I’ve heard it’s not that time of year because of the heat.
NICE VIDEO 👍👍
Thks for -answer you video this nice and thks because you like my country special Pto Vallarta thks
Nice video
Wow just found your vids very cool. Can you please tell me what kind of camera are you using that allows you to get these great vids with great audio and jump in and out of the ocean too?
Thanks. I use a Gopro 7. The Gopro 8 just came out so I'll get it soon.
Gracias por compartir
Cool, we used to smoke at that old beach house. Just snack on fruit dude. The tacos come out at night. Pizza Ron's. Don paymores on the kiddie Beach.
This is all GoPro 7 using? Because if so. That thing is impressive
GoPro 7, yes. Glad it's looking good.
Very nice vlog Brother 👍👍👍
Big like
wow,wonderful placed
Thanks for this video
I know this question is a bit off topic but I would like to know whish micro SD card, you prefer, thanks. The reason for asking is, I'm traveling to Europe in September and just got a GoPro hero 7 black.
I have two, a SanDisk extreme plus 32gb and a SanDisk ultra 64gb. Not really sure which one is better, or if there's another better one to use. If you find out, let me know.
@@GabrielTravelerVideosMuchas Gracias!
Hello nice video looking for the next very creative saludos
have you gotten sick while you have been in mexico? because you eat in the local restaurants or do you follow certain rules for eating food while you travel? thank you for filming and uploading always great content!!!!
Nope, haven't gotten sick, I don't follow any rules as far as what I eat. I eat whatever looks good.
On My monthlong trip to PV, after all Local Food, I only got sick on the last day, when I ate Pizza Hut. haha
Reminds me of Goa.
We've been to Sayulita lots of times but wont be returning any time soon. It's gotten so busy that its hard to find any weeks when it is actually the town we came to know and love...outside maybe the summer months. Last visit we both got super-sick as well, and discovered from asking around that food-borne illness and improper food handling is not uncommon .....town proponents will try to minimize your troubles and tell you the sewage and water have been fixed and that there is medical help available. But the standard and practises employed to fix the water and sewage are obviously not up to par. And no one is addressing the causes of the diseases to begin with. And then we return to the crowds and growth. Sayulita has become an expensive tourist beach town....just as many vendors as Vallarta. Wanting peace and quiet ? It can't be had in Sayulita anymore.....too bad. The good news is the world is a big place and there are obviously many other locations to see and enjoy.
Beautiful Beach. I’ve gone to Sayulita and the beach was very crowded . What is the name of the beach in this video? It’s very beautiful and I would like to visit. Thanks.
I'm not sure of the name but if you go to Sayulita you'll find it, it's the main beach.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos thanks I’ve been to the main beach and it doesn’t look similar to your video - I am assuming you walked to the right when you entered the main beach. I will try that- thank you very much for responding. Safe travels!
@@brandonsimmons2414 Yes, go right. The main beach right in town looks terrible, I never swam there. But the beach keeps on going for a long ways to the right and gets less crowded. When you get to the end of it keep on hiking up the trail and eventually you'll get to another beach that's usually devoid of people.
long time sub and super random in this video you are in the town right next to me lol
No way, where are you now? Bucerias? I passed that on the way to Sayulita and it sounded nice.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos san pancho or san francisco about 5 minutes past sayulita. Great sunsets!
Hi Gabriel, What transportation did you use to get there from Puerto Vallarta?
I took a local bus. See this video: ua-cam.com/video/lnpY8_0QGr4/v-deo.html
Gabe, where would you like to settle down?
It is a lucky thing to have family in NorCal, like Gabe does. If I could afford it, I would never have left.
