Unknown Pastiliere (UP) fig

This variety was found in California. Not to be confused with Pastiliere which is a French variety. Smyrna-type so it requires pollination from the fig wasp. Incredible cherry taste, high acid and sugar content. Size is only small to average but one of the best tasting fig in my opinion. Fig varieties in my collection in Becsehely, Hungary
