I love your lessons Bobby. Because I was brought up listening to music (like most of us) it's nice to see that Peter Green style chord progression laid out as you did it. Huge Peter Green fan since my teens and I'm 67 now!! Thank you.
Yo... sorry I'm a year late. U just showed up in my recommendation list. U played that beautifully! A lot (most) online blues tutorials miss capturing the soul (the feeling) of the blues and I totally FELT that. Coming from a person who listens to Blues everyday... Well done! 😎
hello, from France , Im also an old listener to blues, and I agree absolutely Candy Man, you have a real good feeling with blues guitar style ! Thank you so much Bob for your lesson.
loving all these lessons it's helping my blues so much. I'm diving deep in blues so I have a more mature style . I've studied for years and I'm working on phrasing now I'm trying to soak up as much as possible.
Interesting voicings on this version. I learned to play this some years ago from a book called "Instant Peter Green" by Douglas J. Noble. I play the F#m at the 9th fret and the Bm and E7 at the 7th fret because I like that particular voicing. Then there's the middle section which is a whole different story 😉
Just stumbled upon your channel....lucky me. When I started watching Brit Floyd videos, I loved your playing and I really love slow blues. When I grow up I would really love to play like you...probably not going to happen as I'm 75 now. I missed my opportunity when I was a kid as my parents insisted I learn to play accordion and ended up on a flat bed truck with 16 other accordionist playing "Lady of Spain" in parades.......drat, I hated the stupid accordion and that dumb ass truck! :-)
Beautiful work Bobby! Saw you in Doncaster on Friday! I told you and the other guitar player, whose name eludes me, that Peter Green and David Gilmour have my favourite Vibrato. Little did I know, you played this too! Amazing lesson, I’ll be incorporating into my playing.
Don't forget Danny Kirwan. Some of the guitar parts from early Fleetwood Mac that one might think is Peter Green is actually Danny Kirwan. They both had great vibrato technique.
@@markkeneson6806 You are so right!! We must never forget Danny, he was such a special talented, one of a kind musician, a very sensitive soul. Sadly he had his share of troubles, and stopped playing music, but the music he made will live on💙🌟💙🎶💯
I’ve played this solo for years and I’m fairly good at it. The trick to it, and the most difficult thing is the “feel.” And not to forget the guitar sound as well. Unfortunately, I’m so lazy I’ve never learned the rhythm part. Lol 😂 I will do that right now! Thanks mate. Good insight you’ve given. SUBSCRIBED BUTTON HIT!!!
Damn, its been decades since ive heard this tune! That dim7 brings it back, instantly reminds me of "She caught the Katy". Too bad Peter tripped out and exited the land of reality. Hey Bobby, Thanks for bringing back old songs and memories! ! Wonderful practice sessions!
hola me imagino que la guitarra es GIBSON en que marca de amplificador la tienes conectada que suena tan bonito, tube una GIBSON pero no se escuchaba asi
Peter green was mad at playin, especially live. Soft and warm, than suddenly a stunning gainy fast rough and tough scaring lick 😂. Btw great playin lesson and tone.
Hello Clark, you`re right if you mean the Chord in Beats 1 & 2 of Bar 6. It`s a 1 6 2 5. Bar 5 = [ 1maj VImin ] Bar 6 = [ 2min V7 ] or [ A F#m ] [ Bm E7 ]

How to get close of that out-of-phase sound using an Epiphone les paul standard pro without the phase split? Any recommendations?
I do believe the B chord is supposed to be minor. It is the II chord in the key of A after all.

@@berndkoelbl3852 - yes, I wasn't referring to the "out of the box" bridge with the B, E, F which, strangely, just seems to work.
This is a pastiche of Need Your Love So bad, following a similar chord progression, not a transcription of the song itself.
Just play. Forget the theory!
This is great ✊
Thanks for the video! Solo?
🌳Beautiful...
Whats the guitar and please what do you run/record your guitar parts through
Bobby, I don't suppose your based anywhere near Liverpool are you? Can I come to you for blues lessons?😁
