I'm glad you mentioned that this and amber oud exclusif bleu are the same juice. Ig when my AOEB runs out I'll just pick up whichever is cheaper at the time. Thanks for the video goodsir. 🙌🏻
Well, this is kinda sad in some sense... Arrived today, sprayed on left hand and Layton order directly from PDM online shop on the second one... I am not able to tell the difference, although I admit I am no expert. I just wanted to buy Layton so bad to support the "art", but if this one proves to have better performance than original, then I really don´t see much sense in buying the original. If they were the same, I would still consider. But if the clone is just better, then I can hardly find a reason to justify the buy.
If it's that serious to you, just think that pdm had to pay a perfumer for who knows how how long to come up with an original scent and may have taken months or years to do vs the clone house that just tried its best to copy what's there. Without layton orientica xo blue would either not exist or would have to copy someone else that did the same as pdm.
Thanks! Yea, this one is really flying under the radar! The funny thing is that Orientica have one more Layton clone, called Royal Bleu, which is also a banger! Review of that one coming soon :)
Took a week to get here in the Caribbean but I Got it in yesterday. I must tell you thanks thank thanks man. This is the second clone I’ve bought on your recommendation and it is even better than you described them. Thank you man.
@@TevinC814 Bro, I ordered XO, but after seeing many reviews about its poor projection (LONGEVITY is great), I canceled the order. How about your bottle?
I also have this one and it's one of the best clones. Surprisingly, this performs better than Layton in my case even though the quality is not the same. Anyway, at least 90% similar and still a very good quality.
There is also a very good clone of Layton Exclusif made by Fragrance World called Anaqeed . I get about 8 -10 hours performance and imo. it is 90 % close to the Layton Exclusif . At $40 , it is a steal !
@@thenicesmellinggentleman May not have the quality of juice that the Layton has , but you have to remember we are talking about a $40 fragrance versus one that can cost over $300 !
I have Amber Oud Exclusif blue, looks exactly like the Al Haramain bottles just without the Al Haramain name on them and I believe this one is the same as the one that I have. I never smelled Layton before but I've seen a lot a hype for it so I decided to get the clone but to be honest I'm having a hard time with it. All I get is the minty medicinal note lingering and it doesn't feel pleasant to me.
Exclusif Bleu is not from Al Haramain. I think Neeb made a video about it a while ago. Also curious how Xclusif Oud Bleu is compared to The Woods Collection Dusk. Great video as always!
You are right, I heard that too. They just shared the same bottle design and name itself was confusing (Amber Oud). From what I saw somewhere , Amber Oud Exclusif Bleu was Orientica's product as well. I read that those 3 products are the same juice : Amber Oud Exclusif Bleu, Orientica Xclusif Oud Bleu and Orientica Royal Bleu. I have myself Orientica Royal Bleu, it has lovely bottle, amazing scent with great performance. Before purchase of Royal Bleu I've tested Al Harmain Detour Noir but it had one note that was causing me a headache, it was more syntetic.
im intrested in Orientica Xclusif Oud Bleu and royal blue, do you know which one performance is better? may i ask your royal blue how many hours last? and how is sillage?@@Boodroo
@@arefj9194 I've heard thats the same juice but cannot confirm, I smelled only Royal Bleu. Sillage is top, very potent perfume. It lasts long, after 10 hours I still smell it. Only cons might be price of it, it costs over 60 euros for 80 ml
I have this fragrance, but even though the front of the bottle says “Extrait de Parfum”, the sticker on the bottom says “Eau de Parfum”. Am I the only one? Is this normal?
I’m trying to find a bottle of that one for a reasonable price. At the moment it’s super expensive around here, selling at almost the same price as Layton itself
I have ROYAL BLUE AND AMBER OUD XO XCLUSIF OUD BLUE BY ORIENTICA 👍 IT'S THE SAME JUICE BUT XO XCLUSIF OUD BLUE EXTRAIT DE PARFUM IS WAY STRONGER 💪 I GET 8HR WITH ROYAL BLUE AND 12HR HRS WITH XCLUSIF BLUE PLUS

My bottle had great performance from the first spray. Maybe batch variation or skin thing? Anyway, give it some time and test it again, I hope it improves for you
I don't care for dusk myself. The cardamom in it was too much, it's too prominent, giving a spicy food vibe if not a sort of a b.o. note. If smelled up close, I get b.o. from it. Some hype dusk a lot. I don't get it. But that's me. Maybe it ages better if stored a while. Not sure. Lalique White in Black is the office safe version of Layton, meaning it's pretty much Layton but in a weakened down less sweet version. WIB is hard to source affordably now. Adding for clarity: WIB is also toned down on sweetness from Layton, which to me is a plus. At $40 it was a good deal. Around $100+ we see now... no. Not to me anyway. Detour Noir is rough around the edges. The campherous note in Layton comes from geranium. In Noir, not sure it isn't from camphor. It's reminiscent but of perceptible lower quality. Haven't tried the XO exclusif version. If it's quality, but less sweet than Layton, then it sounds good.
Thank you for posting this helpful video and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Exactly! :)
Do a comparison of this vs Dusk of woods collection 🙏
I’ll try to get a bottle of Dusk next month, already spent my fragrance budget for this month 😁
I have 4 Layton clones and Dusk by far the best !

Amber Oud is owned by Orientica which is also Al Haramain. All 3 are the same company.
My suspicion is the same, tho some people strongly believe that Orientica and Al Haramain have nothing in common:)

Hey George, is this review still valid in 2025? I saw this clone at a reasonable price and want to purchase.
Hi George. Been researching this for the past few days. Is this better than Detour Noir?
Hey mate! It’s better in every way. Higher quality, longer lasting, better bottle. The only downside is the higher price :)
Hello from Germany, what is the best Dior Homme Intense Clone and how many hours does it last? Thank you very much😊
