      I have a few technically problems presently as my PowerDirector 10 is a bit old and can't cope with some simple footings. I tried Premiere Elements 15 but the sequences are not fluid and pixelated. I've ordered PowerDirector 15, maybe even a new PC for Christmas if I can manage financially. Thank you everybody for your patience.

    Hi friend, dont forget the filter Daisee brand, in quality image is very good, very realistic colour, and the best polarazing. Rodenstock and B&W are very similar in quality, but rodenstock is more strong. For me the best brand is Daisee

    The Cokin may be made in China, but it has the nicest looking multiple coating

    Im interested in out door testing and compare them side by side in photoshop or LR. You weigh them or mention the price of each. This more like smooth or tight comparisons

    The B+W doesn't have a QR code. Counterfeit?

    So i just purchased my very first filter after getting into photography two years back. The 58 mm B+W F pro MRC (circular polarizer) I have a Canon 100D (US "Rebel") My questions are: Should i still use a lense hood when using filters and is there anything in particular i need to consider upfront of utilizing my new filter on my Canon 55-250 mm IS STM lense? I have a gut feeling i will have to remove the lense hood every time i need to swivel that polarizer wheel of fortune into effect.

      If the diameter of the lens hood is not large enough, it certainly will hinder your CPL rotations. I rotate the filter using my thumb and middle fingers with the hood on.

    Why Kenko Zéta EX is the best? If Kenko lightest, maybe it's made of plastic?

    • @noughtyphotography
      @noughtyphotography  8 років тому +1

      I have my own favourites and it's not Kenko. One fact is that the coatings on all these filters seem to be of excellent quality. I'm still preparing Part 2 for polarizing efficiency. Kenko doesn't advertise the kind of material used. For obvious reason, I can't use the burning test, so it would be nice if someone can confirm whether the rim is made of plastic or aluminium.

      Yes, it's definitely interesting! I'am waiting... very interested to see second part of the test.

      Best to ask someone who bought one on a site like Amazon. They are a cheaper Hoya filter.

      Buy marumi exus blindfolded. It has maximum polarization yet least light blocking. Quality of coating is also best. Zeiss, b+w charge more for their name. One person shoots with exus and fuji medium format camera. Check his work.

    Between Cokin and Kenko, which one is slimmer?

    • @noughtyphotography
      @noughtyphotography  8 років тому

      +Wit Mahapiyasilp Cokin is the slimmest. Multi-coated, lens cap compatible, but just. You may like to know that it's "designed and engineered" in France, but it's also the only filter that is made in China.

      Where the filter is produced does not matter much to me ..... interests even if it brings good results. And that's why I'm waiting forward to part 2.

      @noughtyphotography  8 років тому +1

      The first part of part 2 is filmed, I'm just waiting for a decent day and time off to take some photographs. The remaining editing is the most time--consuming. Please bear with me.

    what is your favorite for performance ?

    • @noughtyphotography
      @noughtyphotography  4 роки тому +1

      I personally like a lot the Zeiss, which is expensive. I also have the Sony (Zeiss) which is not at all convenient for turning because of its very thin second ring. The B+W less smooth for turning. The Hoya HD is perfectly priced for quality. The Nikon is good, but a lot of counterfeits, buy from a reputable dealer.

      @@MrBazsi888 ZEISS 77mm Carl ZEISS T* Circular Polarizer Filter. For some reason, Carl Zeiss changed its name to Zeiss, there was a campaign to reverse this but not successful. I much prefer Carl Zeiss for its history. Beware of counterfeits as well for this one. All the best.

      @@gustavosil8576 If money is no object, B+W Xs-nano HTC KSM, which is a lot slimmer than the F-Pro (7mm). Make sure you have the real thing. B+W should have a new retail box.

    will you test them for cleaning and flare??

    • @noughtyphotography
      @noughtyphotography  8 років тому

      Thank you for your interest. As I bought all these filters myself, I won't be dirtying them just to test whether or not they are easy to clean. All of them should clean easily with a good microfibre cloth coupled with Kodak, Tiffen, B+W or Zeiss cleaning fluid.
