Two of the hardest Punchers and raw power Ron Lyle and Big Foreman who Ali beat both said that Cleveland Williams was one of the three hardest punchers they shared the ring with. They said Cleveland had such power even if he caught you on the arms it felt like he broke or crushed your bones. Cleveland was on a 4 fight knock out streak. Unlucky for him he met the actual Prime at his peak Ali. Then the World was robbed of the 4 years of the prime Ali
Cleveland was also shot a few weeks before the fight. Ali’s career was perfectly managed.

Ernie Shavers was actually the boxer that Ali said was the hardest hitting boxer he ever fought.
As a follower of both boxing and chess, I draw a parallel between Ali and Fischer. They both didn't fight for a few years in the 60s, for somewhat similar reasons, both in protest of the establishment of their respective sports. Those years were part of their prime years for both. Who knows what wonderful performances they probably would have produced had they competed during those years.
From 1967 -1971 that was Ali’s prime time

I'm a huge Ali fan. After watching most of his fights repeatedly, I think he should have retired after the final Frazier fight. He went on to winnsome high profile fights after that but he had accomplished everything that needed to be accomplished at that point and physically he wasn't the same after that. Always had the heart of a Lion.

The thing with Parkinson’s is that there is no concrete evidence to support the fact that boxing was the cause of Ali’s condition, but what is true is boxing definitely worsened the condition.

that was just Ali entering his prime and being levels above everyone in his divison. Cleveland Williams was a real challenger to anyone else.
