I agree for this producer but there can be vast differences in quality between entry level and GG (grand crus) wines. Some GGs are of incredibly high quality and concentration and are not comparable to normal Riesling wines.

Yes they mostly all are but the point for me is that Orstweins and Erste Lages offer tremendous value for money.

@@drmatthewhorkey That is true. Unfortunately, not every winemaker that produces stunning GGs also does the same thing with Ortsweinen and Erste Lage and vice versa. Thats the good and bad thing about wine: Try it and see for yourself🤷‍♂
