Let’s go. We’re going to make jam 😋
just found you!!! love you guys, so natural a lot like myself, I live in B.C Canada, rainforest west coast and i just foraged 10lbs of blackberries and about 50 lbs of wild apples and made jams and canned the apples with slices of ginger, nothing like foraged food !!! the price of food is going crazy here !!! 2 apples cost me 1.97 $ its insane, so forage what i can, life is going to get very hard soon.....for us all !!!
will get your book.
Food prices are wild at the moment! We was also collecting apple's & wondering how much they would cost these days in a shop
Love your Book❣️ It is "jam" packed with everything I need to know. Thank you! 🌿💚🌿

Can't wait to get your book!!

Do you have a recipe that doesn't include so much sugar please? I LOVE foraging for jam making, but the amount of sugar needed negates the health benefits of the wonderful wild berries used. Any tips would be so appreciated 🙏 thank you! Ps. I have your book 😊
We're practicing trying to make sugar free jam 🙂
Adding dates instead?
Love your recipes will be ordering the book 🥰 thank you for all you do and share
Thank you 😁
Great video, could i use regular sugar?
I used regular sugar
Hello hope you are all well. Perfect recipe for the turning of the wheel. Thankyou /|\
Any links to buy the book from ethical / independent sellers?
Ooh didn’t know you had a book! Nice!
Also , you didn’t add pectin to the jam. I’ve read that apples contain pectin, does that mean you HAVE to always include apples? Or would it work with just berries? Thanks!
Jam setting sugar often includes pectin so that may have done the job for them :)
Hi guys 👋 Where can I find your book ( except Amazon ) please ?
It's only available on Amazon 🙂
Would the same method apply if I used strawberries and blackberries instead of the fruits you used? ❤️
Yep! I tried it with both too! 🙂👍😋
yes
Hi is this shelf stable how long would it last thanks.
Hiya, at least 6months in a sealed jar. The sugar acts as a preservative ✌❤
@@homeiswhereourheartis thank you
Ohhhhmyyyyyy that's a bunch of sugar 😲
Purely a taste thing.
All goodness blitzed out.
Still, maybe a little guilty pleasure?
YOLO 😂
No thanks. All that sugar will kill the vit c as also does all the boiling.
There must be a better way.
