One day people would go to Thea's free meetup :) There're many NYC ferry routes. It's not entirely free but you can take the ferry and walk for free :) Hang in there, Thea. The rent in NYC and in the entire country is skyrocketing
Greetings from Sydney again .... Thea - your latest video is chock-a-block with some great ideas. My previous 5 trips over the years to NYC have always been in May and June. Maybe I'll adjust that to July next year to celebrate the 4th of July stuff. Re the fireworks I was looking at your map and thought maybe the southern end of Roosevelt Island would also be a great viewing point. Anyway - that's it for now, keep up the great work, your videos are a highlight of my week and inspires me to make another trip hopefully next year. Regards, Stephen
Thanks as always Thea, always good information. I may bring my daughter in to do the kayaking and I’ve always wanted to go to the Whitney. I’ve always wanted to do Shakespeare in the Park, but I’m not sure how safe it is.
I hope you get to go kayaking. It's a nice little thing to do in the summer. It's also right next to the Intrepid which has a space shuttle on display.
Info on where to view the fireworks are now updated on Macys website: mcys.co/3NnqHu2
If I was there, I would camp out on the Queens side for the fireworks show. It would be pretty amazing to have the Manhattan skyline behind the show
Either that or the NYC ferry which might be passing underneath the fireworks. Though does the ferry operate at night?
@@davidlazarus67 it does not, and I seriously doubt any boats are allowed on the East river while they are shooting off fireworks
@@frednich9603 The night time restrictions are probably the bigger factor.
NYC 4th of July 1976 (The Bicentennial) now THAT was a party!!!
🏳️🌈 I bet it was!
@@UrbanCaffeine There's a few UA-cam vids...the "tall ships" etc.
Congrats for the 10k 💪💪

If Thea ever did a meetup, I would probably try and attend.

Very helpful, and thank you for the Citymapper App suggestion. It's amazing!
Nice to hear you tried out Citymapper! They also have other cities, not just New York.
So much to do,so little time! 🤗😉👍🏻
If only there was a solution to this!

@@UrbanCaffeine please I would like to ask a question, what is the difference between the United States and United states minor outlying island ??
@@035844907 These islands are territories owned by the US. No one lives there permanently.
