If you want to find out about the new Craftsman USA plant ua-cam.com/video/ph6oy5tsSYw/v-deo.html
Check that video out!
First thing that comes to mind is how in the future cordless ratchets will be the size of regular ratchets. Also looking forward to see craftsman back in the game.
I have one and I used it to do some minor electrical work. I was putting on some cover plates and switches. Worked great for that.
That's pretty awesome. Nice and compact. At 4 volts, I would not have expected it to drive screws into wood without pilot holes.
I didnt think it would do as well as it did either to be honest i am impressed
I like the light on it.
Awesome little tool man!
Thanks for the video. This is a tool for low torque applications.
Bought mine for $29 on Black Friday and saved a few more bucks along with some other items with the coupon they gave out for the first 300 customers that day. It was $10 off $50..
i use it at work to change licence plate frames on display cars, its great.
Interesting tool.
Glad to see your review - I saw this at Lowe's the other day and was trying to understand how the hell it worked after playing with it haha. Screw guns are very handy. Used mine the other day to change out the headlight in daughters Jeep. If you didn't know, you have to remove the entire grill and then the headlight just to get a new bulb in there. My screw gun made quick work of this job.
I hate the way a lot of cars are like that its ridiculous to change a bulb you have to disassemble the whole front clip lol..jk i do hate it though
Wow at how bright the light is
Great Channel!
played with one of these at work, I was able to sink a 2 inch drywall screw into a treated 4x4 post. Plenty of power to me
Lowes is clearing these out for 24.50, I got lucky and was able to find one today. Definitely pick one for that price before they're gone for good!
At least it's got a battery meter and like the light on it
That's impressive Drive that screw in the wood with that little screwdriver, I have the dewalt 8 volt that I use to replace air filters
Cool that you rotate it the direction you want it to turn and it powers interesting I saw this as well didnt pick it up though
I just bought mine for $24.95. I haven’t used it yet. But like you ,I’m rooting for Craftsman too. It’s what I grew up with!!
Nice
Good video
I use my DeWalt screwdriver mentioned for working as an electronics repair technician. I think it serves this purpose well. I would never use something like this for driving wood screws, but that was a good torture test.
I honestly didn't think it could do it to be honest and I agree I would never use this tool to drive screws into wood. I wanted this to do interior work in cars and with the light, power, and function of this I am extremely happy with it so far.
For the price plus the better functioning flashlight not bad at all...may just pick one up this Christmas.
For the price, seems awesome.
Good video man. I like how you take the time to create good content. Much appreciated! Regarding the tool, I'd rather stick to a $10 multi bit manual tool instead. Some inventions are clever, others just seem clever.
I really appreciate that Joe I literally spend hours extra trying to make the videos at least half way decent lol. They had a kobalt ratcheting screwdriver at Lowes that looked pretty interesting too.
I got those same harbour freight bar clamps lol there not bad for the price .but thanks for the video thought about getting one of these
I got it for 24.99.
You know what it’s good for? Those super light touch bolts and nuts that we tend to over torque. Like valve cover nuts, ecu cover screws, etc etc.
Personally I’m going to use it for installing camshaft cams for sr20det. It’s installed in stages to avoid breaking the cam. The first stage calls for 1.4 ft lbs or 16 inch lbs. My electric ratchet will easily exceed that, and you have to be slow and gingerly with a 1/4 ratchet and you can still accidentally exceed that. But you know what won’t exceed that initial torque setting ? This craftsman cordless screw driver! Drive them down with this thing, then whip out your in/lb torque wrench to finish the job!
Interesting tool. I think I’ll stick with using my impact driver though
You should compare it to the Bauer 4v screwdriver
I can do that brother for sure next time i go to harbor freight i will get it.
Are there any other company's that make a motion activated screwdriver like this other than dewalt? @Redemption Garage
Liked your comment on newer model impacts with screwdriver mode, but a search didn't turn up any with this feature. Mind pointing me in that direction?
I dont know what cordless tools you like or what platform you are in but heres one that I know has it

Good review. Just one question: does it only work on the horizontal or can you use it vertically or at an angle?
It works no matter which way the handle is oriented or even no matter which way the handle sets in your hand. Its pretty neat actually lol.. thanks for watching again brother.
This looks like a nice screwdriver, thanks for the good info on it. And did you get a new camera? The video quality, lighting, and sound are very good!
No its actually the same camera i am just learning how to use it better and how to edit sound better lol. Thanks for noticing and watching brother.
@@RedemptionGarage Hey man I work in television and thought the production value was pretty damn good, impressed you did this on your own. Got this tool to use on Set and it's worked great.
Hello again Little Brother
Not to bad a screwdriver, how run time do you think it has, and how much time does it take to charge. I see this as a small area tool. Maybe under a car dashboard. Another Great Video my friend.
They claim 300 and something screws but from what i did with it on and off the camera it seemed to last i drove screws in wood like you seen i did the long screw 4 times and the little screws 4 times and it lost one battery bar so it seems like it would last a good amount of time.
Are there still available and where?
Why did Lowe’s stop selling them ??
I think that the concept is good yet the finished product lacking. I would like to see the head be magnetized, more of a range of speed and a bit more tork.
its on sale for 25 right now
thats we call heavy duty..
It's a nice tool, if you need the space... Thanks for sharing and don't forget to hit subscribe 😀👍👍
I would buy one at $30.00. Lowes does not sell it anymore. What the heck, obsolete at 6 months old!
It may be a patent issue as Dewalt probably holds a patent on gyroscopic screwdrivers. Not sure but probably
@@saoldanify I found it at Amazon for $45. Probably not a patent issue since, DeWalt & Craftsman are owned by Black & Decker. Chances are both screwdrivers were developed in the same engineering lab.
No need for the LOUD music, whew, it stopped. Thanks!
Hi friend, I also have a channel like yours, what is the amper of this battery
Ok I'm buying one and I honestly stopped buying Craftsman tools a few years ago . I have a hard time when Sears was open for them to honor there warranties and Harbor Freight opened up at that time and they never have gave me a hassle , So long story short buy from them and once in awhile the tool truck when my wallet says ok
cant even get to video way too many ads over 3 min each
Ready?
Tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Llllioooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong
Seen it today for $24.99 took a hard pass on this
I don't think you would regret it. For interior work it is perfect. With the light being so good and having a decent amount of power it is great.
Craftsman shill! 🤣
😂😂
