    Each material is having stiffness. But that stiffness varies not only depends upon the material and also the cross-section and dimension of that material. To determine the stiffness for the geometry, we need to calculate the Area Moment of Inertia. In other words, It indicates the amount of resistance to bending (Resisting Moment | Inertia to Moment). It helps to design different types of cross-section that applied in Bridge, Columns and etc.
    Mass moment of inertia indicates the amount of resistance to stop the rotating object. It stores the Kinetic energy during its rotation and helps the systems to operate properly. When you try to stop the cycle wheel after the high speed, it resist to stop itself and we need to give additional force to stop it. Hence that resistance to stoppage is Mass moment of Inertia. It helps to design the cross-section of the element to resist the rotary motion.
    Polar Moment of Inertia indicates the resistance to twisting force or Torsional force. Often we see the drive shaft of Trucks broke down because of not having that much resistance to torsional force against gear transmission. It helps to design the cross-section of the element to withstand the torsional resistance.

      Cross Section க்கு தான் calculate pannanum. Also column and integrate pannanum. Beam ku bottom la triangles form pannuvanga. Ex : 3 Ft. 1mm thickness plate and 3 triangle bar place pandrom na athuku calculate pannalam. Bending aagama iruntha okay
