I'm a hairstylist and I LOVE viral shampoo!!! I recommend it for anyone who has fantasy colors and wants to keep them fresh. It's expensive, but you're only meant to use it once every 3-4 washes so once every 2 weeks for most people, at that rate it should last you a while. It actually saves my clients money by keeping them out of the salon until they're ready to get their roots done, while using professional grade products that won't be a pain to to work with ☺

there’s nothing in makeup products that make them adjust to your specific shade or tone. some have micro pigment that pops when you rub it in and some have predetermined pigment. as you know we all have different skin colors/shades/tones, etc. and with color theory, the same color looks different on different shades of skin :)

With self tanner, I think it would be good to stick a sticker or plaster on beforehand so that there is "untreated skin" and you can see the difference better.

I had dyed my hair purple for over a year and would use the Viral shampoo to help the color stretch. It really is a decent product if you want to just add a touch of color to your naturally lighter hair without doing a more long term dye. Or if you want to extend a color you've dyed your hair. My hair is naturally a light auburn color, so I never needed to lighten it to add colors to it. The red shades I have just gave my purple hair a fun effect with more dimension when Iwas in the sun. I want to say I did shop around and took my time looking for a good price. I ended up finding it for about $20 US. Since I used it to touch up my purple between dye sessions with my Arctic Fox Purple AF, the bottle lasted me a long time. I would just add it to my hair first when I got into the shower and put it in a clip, then wash my body, shave my legs and anything else before rinsing out the shampoo at the end. That usually gave me 15 minutes for it to sit and let the color deposit a bit. Just thought I'd share how I used it and found success for anyone wanting to try it themselves.
Does it stain your hands, like should you use gloves to apply it?
@@eloquentzombie1169 it can leave a light stain. I usually would just use gloves to apply it. Then I'd just let it rinse without scrubbing it until the water ran clear.

@IntoTheEclipse honestly it didn't. I just made sure to give it a good rinse when I was all done. Any spots that did have a hint of purple comes right off with a wipe down of Lime Away. Just if you did get any spots with a little stubborn purple. Just a little tip for anyone who has gotten dye in their tub/shower and wanted a trick for removing any stains. You shouldn't even need to scrub it, a damp old rag, washcloth or sponge will get rid of it with a light wipe.

I'm not on TikTok, but can't believe the viral shampoo is just now getting people's attention!!! I've been using it for years and it's THE BEST color depositing shampoo. If you leave it on for 10-15 minutes you hair will be SO VIBRANT with whatever color you choose.

Wow that lip combo looked amazing! I love love Elf lip stains. It’s crazy, the longer you wear it, the shinier it gets, unless you wipe off the shine of course. If you don’t wipe off the shine, it lasts so long on the lips. I love it, and loved that combo. And I love that pink hair shampoo on you! It looks so good!
My fave lip liner is the Huda Beauty one!! It's retractable and it doesn't budge when it's fully set

This is the shampoo my stylist recommended to me actually, for maintenance! It's been months and months and the pink in my hair still looks great, without having any other kinds of touchups.
SO - I cannot recommend the ELF lip stains enough. I use them regularly due to how affordable and long lasting the stain is. HOPEFULLY the allergy you had wasn't to the ELF one and was just from the liner because that would be so horrible ;0;
ALSO ALSO - In regards to COLOR DEPOSITING HAIR PRODUCTS. I highly recommend Overtone color depositing conditioners. I've been using them for YEARS and they are super pigmented and last pretty well as long as you keep up the hair routine! They have daily conditioners and deep conditioning masks. They also sell a color removing shampoo if you decide to swap to a new tone. It's also like half the price of what you paid for the shampoo.
If I used shampoo I would try that color shampoo though, it looks really nice after you finished styling and everything. So glad to see more options coming out!

Shampoo with dye in it is the goat. I reccomend it to everyone I know with vibrant hair colours. My hair has been hot pink for nearly five years now and I haven't dyed it since the initial time. All I ever do is the occasional bleaching my roots, and then I use my shampoo to make it pink again. My shampoo is a bit expensive, around fifteen dollars, but it's beyond worth it.
what shampoo do u use? bc fifteen dollars compared to 40 smthn dollars sounds like a deal to me 😭 plus that’s around what shampoo cost for me as a natural haired girl lmaoo. i have red hair rn and can’t keep the color vibrant/in there for the life of me 💀

I was so excited to see you try the viral. I’m a hairstylist that specializes in fashion color, and I always have my bright clients use either the viral shampoo or color conditioners to extend their color life. I also haven’t had any issues with lifting it out to do other colors unlike brands like overtone, which are a pain to remove.

You can make your own colour shampoo and conditioner! Mix dye (dyes like Arctic fox, crazy colour, good dye young, etc) in your own shampoo & conditioner. Mix a heavier amount into the shampoo, and a tiny bit in conditioner (I use them to keep my colour vibrant when I have it one colour) 💗

21:30 In Russia we have some sort of shampoo with a hair color called “тоника” (read as [tó(knee)ka]) and it works, but it will dye your clothes and pillows + hair gets a little bit dry after it

I have been using the Celeb Luxury Viral wash for YEARS and it is my holy grail product for colored hair. That paired with color depositing conditioner by kerachroma is just MWAH!! 💯💯
I use mostly the pink, but ive also used the yellow. They show up better with each wash and esp if you wash and rinse with cool water. I just moved to Canada and tried to buy it but the salon store (im a licensed stylist) had no idea what i was talking about 😩

Try a color depositing mask. It's basically a conditioner with dye in it. There's a bunch of brands that make it. When I had pink hair, I would use it once or twice a month to keep the color bright. A shampoo seems counterproductive.
