I realize that it probably wasn't what you wanted to happen, but that was cool when that chunk you dropped speared into the ground. Thanks for the video...
Funny story about that piece. So after deciding how big I would cut it I also thought that I’ll leave the x ring on it and the guys can take it off. Then I came down after finishing the work and realized that the guys never took it off. We found it buried like two feet in the ground where that piece speared the ground.
How is the ART positioner working with tritech? have any issues? excessive wearing or so?. i want to ty that combo but manufacture specs says just use EN1891 ropes. Cheers!
@@arbolorian that device is still in service today. I do daily inspections and since purchasing my first tritech I’ve now replaced it several times. The wear and tear on it is phenomenal, I am amazed at how well the positioner grabs after such a long time. I do, however, see that the positioner tends to slip when the lanyard is dirty. That’s the most recent thing in terms of wear and tear on the positioner. I’ve used one lanyard for about 2.5 solid years before I knocked it with the saw. This combo is bad to the bone!
safety it is Number one you did a great job

what rope do you use for your lanyards? seems nice and thick and supple
It looks like Sterling TriTech to me.
How are you liking that petzl flow on the zag?
My honest opinion is that I really like it. I want to like it and I do but there are some issues with it. I’ll stop at the 15kN splice.
