- Bear and Silas are always the rock stars at the park. Taking them out is a necessity when it comes to socializing them. They are already both very strong too at 6 and 7 months. Owning wolf dogs is not for everybody.
Wow they tuck their tails when people approach showing submission instead of aggression. Really awesome you are doing a great job training them!
Yeah they do. Good observation
THAT DOG IS SHIT
I was gonna say the same thing, the dogs are extremely well behaved. Honestly I don’t know that much about dogs cuz I’ve never had one but they definitely show a lot of submissive behaviour instead of dominant behaviour which can cause fights. Very beautiful.
@@crazygamingkidz3267 why idiot ?
@@crazygamingkidz3267 you are
When I was 10 I saw a wolf-dog at a restaurant (it allowed dogs inside) and that's the moment I knew I just LOVED wild animals.
I’d love to bring mine in one
You can clearly see their intelligence, learning from other dogs on the lead and presenting themselves in a non aggressive way. They are gorgeous and are certainly going yo be huge and already extremely strong.
Yeah true
Love that in the first encounter how the wolf-dog presented his rear end. It was such a deliberate and non-threatening gesture to the visiting dog and human. Their language is so wonderful. Beauties!
Yeh it was a fun day too
Imagine if people did that :D
@@Likexner no.
@@Likexnerwho says they don’t? 😂 she’s just REALLY friendly.
They are simply gorgeous! It's sad to see that one had lost it's eye but they seem to be well loved and cared for. That is heartening to see. With so many wolves being hunted in the wild this may soon be one of the remaining options to keep them from becoming extinct in the future.
Yeah true
wolves are flourishing in the wild,,,at some point they will be hunted if necessary to keep the population numbers of their prey healthy. It works both ways.Emotions cannot rule the day.
@@wuffa4503wolves are not flourishing at all, they are critically endangered and many wolf species are under serious threat of extinction.
Somehow, wolf-dog behavior seems a lot easier to read than dog behavior. They are much more explicit in the signals they send, and yours seem very friendly and playful with other dogs, which is super nice since, to my understanding, they are usually frightened by new things. They look curious and with a good disposition towards people and dogs, such a good training! Great videos
Yeah good observation
Yeah, they're very good at showing all their emotions. The dogs seemed lot more aloof and specially the big black dog, though he showed pretty well that he doesn't want to play with high energy puppies.
You are doing a fantastic job of letting people see how beautiful these dogs really are. Also, their wild cousins. Wish I could give them a big hug ❤❤❤❤
thank you
I like how all the other dogs were either spooked or aloof but the only one who met the wolf-dogs head on was the one that looked like it had terrier in 'em. Fearless little maniacs those guys.
Gorgeous wolf dogs too!
Thanks for watching
The terrier also got slightly worked up at the Golden Retriever for existing. Yup. Definitely a terrier. 😂
@@AnoraJohnson they have so much big man energy it's amazing.
I can't tell if it's a giant schnauzer or a giant schnoodle or a black Russian but you put all that terrier in one place you better be a strong willed owner lol
A wolf named bear...Do you have a cat named monkey?🤣
No LOL my cats name is Banjo.
I had a cat named fallabella after the breed of pony
I had a cat named monkey! Had to give her to the neighbors though.
Lol love how the big bad wolf-dog is scared of children. Bear and Silas both seem like huge sweethearts. Looks like you’ve done a great job with them.
Yeah thanks for watching
I understand the fear of children
Its funny how you can see the other person walking one of em struggling to hold them back, really shows how strong they are
little horses
It's amazing how shy and submissive they are! So well behaved and loving! They probably figured the husky was a long lost cousin 😁💖
They were still very much pups here
@@dhand34 Beautiful!
Thank you so much for sharing this. It's a glimpse into what wolfdogs are all about: the way they are raised and socialized. I detect immediate differences in their behavior, but nothing to suggest viciousness or aggression. Love them. Beautiful!
yeah thanks for watching
It's really humbling to see that even as pups wolf dogs/wolves are still so massive compared to so many dogs and even people. Such incredible animals.
Bear was a runt
@@dhand34 Still though
Beautiful and affectionate and friendly wolves
Your one wolf is got something in its left eye
Beautiful animals, I love wolves they are such beautiful creatures.
@@danastewart3091 yeah me too
They have such a BIG Heart, unbelievable Wolfdogs ❤🧡💛💚💙
Thanks for watching
My friends had a Timberwolf growing up in North Nevada. She was a big love muffin like Bar. She would wait for us boys to come home on the roof of my friends house. We never knew how she got up there
So submissive oh my gosh. They are great at showing no threat and expressing how friendly they are.
They must be mid to high content too
Yeah Bear is a high about 90% Silas is a mid about 60% wolf
By the way they act they are high content lab.
Dude, they're adorable with their friends! 😅 Heartwarming, Bear's my favorite. Knowing the general traits of these dogs I would have thought a much different attitude, particularly being in a pack, but they're wonderful, so sweet and well behaved, great job 👍🏻🖤
Thx for watching
Oh wow! They are gorgeous and so big, also really friendly
Thanks for watching
Lovely powerful dogs, full of live , charm and character.
Thanks for asking
They might be wolfdogs by breed, but those are dogs by nature. They're so kind
Little goof balls really
Those dogs are georgous. Would love a wolfdog but haven't got the experience or knowledge on owning and looking after one.💗
Yeah it’s a lot, as you can see from watching my vids
I Love Bear .. I wish I could visit. Them .
I need to get him out on trail today
Beautiful creatures!
I think so too!
Those wolf dogs look very majestic
Thanks for watching them
Omg SUCH SWEET BABIES.....so precious 💖 💗 💓 💕 😍
What a beautiful video
You folks keep sharing happiness and love
God bless
Thanks for watching
I’m so jealous of the other dog walkers, I want wolf-dog hellos too! 😭 Props to you guys on socializing & behavior - they did awesome especially being so young here. TY for posting!
Thanks for watching
thanks for the video , watching your wolf dogson a normal walk , their behavior & interactions approaching other dogs is typical of my own wolf dogs movements & behavior . My dog, Sakima is such a good natured boy, he does not express the alpha dog mentality at all when greeting other dogs. He gets excited jumps off the ground & wants to play or at least meet every dog he sees. Sakima is timid rather than aggressive. He was born naturally knowing how to be himself as well as how to behave . For the most part I did very little training other than making me the alpha dog & teaching him to come when called. I did get him fixed (sigh) when he was about 9 months old
My males are a lot more easy going than my female
bear is such a sweet boy he’s so shy with people 🫣
Those are PUPPIES?? Well, as other people have commented, you raised those wolfdogs to be really happy, friendly and gentle!
Yeah we put a lot of work into them.
Your wolf dogs are beautiful and I love them. I love wolves, they’re very intelligent animals. It’s cute how bear loves to greet the dogs. I saw bear let one person pet him. They are very good watch dogs also. I love your videos.
Thanks for watching them
I like how the big black dog in the second dog interaction had no issues with the wolf dog puppies clearly because he knew them, but got defensive when the yellow lab came by, which clearly shows that is clearly familiar with the wolves, but not with the other lab
@@bearjew6665 yeah he was their buddy back then
I took mine to all the Pow-Wows. I got thinking people were more happy see them then me. Everyone loved them. They never acted up, enjoyed meeting all the new friends they made
yeah its a good thing to do
Wolfdog:
Other dog: Hi?
Wolfdog: OhmygodHi!
Really depends of the wolfdog and those were very young wolfdogs, it is very common for them to develop same sex agression by the time they are 2 years old, no amount of socialization can overcome it.
So, Bear is 90% wolf? He definitely looks like it! He’s a handsome fella!
Such a well mannered wolfdog puppies!
Amazing you can really tell how different they are than a regular dog. Many reactions in Behavior just little things I noticed no they are not quite as big as a regular wolf some of the wolf pelts where enormous. They look real close to it.
Bear is a high content 90% wolf and the other is about 60%
They were just pups at this video. I think he said 7months and 5mths old.
Beautiful wolves 🐺
When that Black dog barked... Wolfie was like.. @#$% u then punk! And walked off! 😁
I give anything to know what was going on in his mind then
Very nice bear & Silas out there, I wouldn't worry about them wolves and no offense but that cougar of yours I'd worry about. 😂
Haha love it ❤.. have 2 Alaskan Siberian Huskies, AKA wolf dogs.. DNA test confirmed… 60% ..so beautiful !
Glad i found your channel.. Just a walk in the park is an adventure

Oh man id love to go to the park to meet these wolves. Ive been obseesed with them for ever. So majestic and wild.
Most people like them when they meet them
That was precious!!!!! The Lord is so good to give us His animals to love. My sister had a 98% Timberwolf. He was amazing!!!! Take care and give them kisses from me. God bless you and those awesome animals 🙏🕎✝️
Amen God has been good
@stone cold ever heard of embark dna test?
@stone cold dna test
Amen!!
6:06 - I wouldn't take that personally, though, since they might be worried about how their dog will react, not how yours will. My old female beagle hated big dogs and wanted to protect us and her property from them, got thrown a couple times by them too LOL good thing they weren't mean :P
Most dogs like em some don’t
This is too much CUTENESS to handle 😭😭😭🥰🥰♥️♥️♥️♥️

I wouldn’t be surprised if the other dogs are thinking: “I bet it would be fun to run through the forest and hunt wooly mammoths with THOSE dogs!!”

We have a wolf dog named Behr too!
He is Black Wolf/German Shepherd dog.
❤️
looks like one of them is missing an eye, poor thing, they're so beautiful!!!
He is but still sees better than me
they get excited like dogs but do certain wolf greetings that make dogs go "whuh?" haha
Yeah true
They're beautiful and they're awesome how cool.

They are so well behaved. Kudos !
Thanks for watching
I can tell that bear is timid with somethings, but I love watching them go for walks.
Yeah good observation
It's hilarious to me that these 2 wolfdogs are more dog friendly than my westie lmfao
edit: That's why some people avoid other dogs, specially big ones.
They are pups still but they are dog friendly today too
I'm more nervous around small dogs, maybe because my sister used to have a softie of a rottweiler
Puppies My A••. Those Are Giants. Still Awesome Though. Like How They Tuck Their Tails When people Come Towards Them.
Kind of like humans, their brains don’t grow as fast as their bodies
True
Wow I can't imagine how strong these wolfos are! I imagine if they REALLY wanted to go in a particular direction... Not much would stop them
Yea they have to be well trained and controlled on leash
I subscribe to you guys' channel because I absolutely love wolves I've always felt close to them had a few friends that raised wolves in my life as far and they're such beautiful animals. Always wanted to have my own wolf dog

My pup is like that with women . Men could care less. ❤❤❤ You have great WD's

I have a primitive dog breed mix (shar pei). She approaches other dogs the way Silas does: MUCH EXCITE!!!! WHO EEEEZZZZ EEEEET?!!! MUST SAY HELLO! But then literally .615 seconds later she’s over it and starts snarling and growling. She is a library of confusion.
@@kimberlyhickey937 these two are saying if you like me, then I like you
@@dhand34 thank you so much for your reply! And thank you for sharing your babies with us! Because my girl is unpredictable I err on the side of caution, especially when it’s a dog the same size or bigger than her. She gets so excited until she’s over it. Only exception is little dogs. She LOVES little dogs. I think it’s a maternal thing? But your guys? She’d drag me over to them and then almost instantly start stirring the 💩 pot. 🙄
They are so cute!
Cool and the gang bro! I recently been seeing Coywolfs on the regular in the yard back here...I been feeding them just so I can see them.. one is Grey top white underneath...the other is bigger and looks like them...I'm sure they're male and female hangin out....🤔

Wow people seem really friendly with the Wolfdogs. But when people see us walking our Doberman they will walk the other way. I guess Dobermans still get a bad reputation today.
Try a pit Bull one time

So beautiful and sweet!
Question: why do you keep so much tension on the leash when they are greeting the other people and dogs? That looks very uncomfortable for everyone involved. Wouldn't it be nicer to find a place where they can run around free?
she definitely couldn’t control that dog
Wow!! we have huge wolves too !! 😊❤🐺
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🐺
They are so cute 🥰. They just want to play with the other dogs 🐕
Yep
it looks like its brother the husky but way older same for german shepards also i like your wolfdogs

@@dhand34 your welcome and have a good day!
Bear is so much like my wolfdog who also tries to buck out of the harness backwards when feeliong frightened and unable to run. My wolfdog also is scared of children!!!
So much for the big bad wolf eating little red riding hood
Wow it's funny you just said that.... I just watched a video on wolfdog ownership and boy oh boy did the narrator have me ssying "Nothing like running with the big bad wolf narrative" he was so uneducated on what he is trying to educate people on. He used adjectives like destructive, aggressive, dangerous with such a serious yet enthusiastic tone. My wolfdog is only 13% grey wolf and yet she's more wolf like than dog.
@@micheler8204 mine are definitely destructive but not dangerous.
What cuties. They're totally like "oh hello new friend" to everyone
They are beautiful
Thanks
Should get bear a eye patch so he looks more fierce.
That’s an idea
Arrrrrrrf
I'm impressed how disciplined the regular dogs are!
Mine were still puppyfied when we made this
@@dhand34 Oh! Hi. I got a question.
Did I hear you correctly that one hybrid was 55%Wolf and the other something like 90%?
How can that be (if I heard correctly).
2nd question - Do hybrids do the same stuff, like play Frisbee?
@@aimeefriedman822 wolfdogs aren’t really hybrids. They’ve been bred WD to WD for many decades so you have varying wolf content levels depending on their lines. If they chase a frisbee they will just chew it up instead of fetching it for you
@@dhand34 I thought they were 1st generation pups. So when you say that a pup is 75%Wolf, you mean by combination or are you saying, "This pup acts like she's around 75%Wolf?
Also, what kind of dog are yours? Shepard/Husky mixes?
@@aimeefriedman822 If I understand it correctly (and I'm no expert), Wolf + Dog = WolfDog. WolfDog + Dog = WolfDogDog. Therefore WolfDogDog is less of a Wolf than the original WolfDog. They also breed WoldDog + WolfDog. How many times this has been done down the line also determines the percentage of Wolf.
Beautiful animals! Do you develop confidence with them to interact with others over time or is there special training you do?
Lots of heavy socializing and always ongoing

My parents had a total of 3 Wolf dogs when I was a toddler. Rusty, Booger, were stollen and The last one was Dusty they lost him on the move from Texas to Indiana. Someone tried to steal him but he ran off and was hit and killed by a vehicle. Dusty was Probably one of my parents favorite dog they ever had.

“ some dog owners avoided us “ what are they supposed to do 💀 “ oh hey he has Wolf dogs wow omg so awesome “
You can see they are very friendly and harmless. It’s funny that some people have such preconceived notions that are so wrong. Actually most do come and say something to the effect of OMG so awesome. ua-cam.com/video/ScITdEkb3rE/v-deo.html
Maybe, but shit happens, I wouldn't take the chance with any strange dog or wolf dog, that's how statistics happen. I wish I had a dollar for everytime someone said "he's friendly" ...plus you can't ignore how your lady I getting practically dragged around, barely able to hold on.

The video DOES say "Reactions From People and Dogs While Walking Wolfdog Puppies In Crowded Park What You Can Expect"
There's nothing wrong with clarifying as the moment happens in the video.
I don’t blame them. My mon was afraid of dogs. Even after we had a quite sizable Scottish shepherd, she still avoids even small dogs.
I love Bear and Sylas. If I saw them both me and my dog would greet them.
The only dogs I avoid while walking my dog are chihuahuas and weiner dogs. They go from 0-100%
