1979 Fiat Spider Resto Mod from Allison's Automotive

1979 Fiat Spider underwent a complete resto-mod by Allison's Automotive. 2L twin cam converted to Bosch FI, 10:1 forged pistons, street performance camshafts, billet aluminum flywheel, adjustable cam gears, exhaust header with full ceramic coated exhaust system featuring a Hushpower muffler, aluminum radiator, 95A alternator, electric water pump, Wilwood big brake upgrade. Addco sway bars front and rear, urethane bushings, Vogtland lowering springs, led headlights, driving lights, Senna 15" wheels with 205x50x15 tires, rear seat package shelf, padded roll bar, marine carpet with Hushmat insulation.

Not that I'd be the least unhappy to own it but the body is a mish-mosh of years. The side marker lights recall the 1970 ones from an early 1400. The door handles are late 1977+. The hood bumps didn't replace the lovely flat hood in the states until 1976, I think. The bumpers were returned to pre-1976ish but they don't match the rest of the car. I doesn't look lowered to me, that's about where all of mine were. No, never did see that color ever.
