Listening to music from '07-'12 reminds me of the the turmoil I went thru growing up during said period. It's still cool how a 1/2 hr of music can give you flashbacks that make for a quick way for retrospecting.

man, all of these feel like they were made last week. Where did all the time go? It felt only a short moment...
For me 2009 brought back the most memories for me because when I went to Ingoldmells in Skegness, those were the songs that they used to play in Fantasy Island at night and we used to sleep in the caravans that were closest there and at night I used to sit by the FREEZING COLD windows and listen to it. :)

2012 was just epic... by far my favorite mashup of all of the ones on UA-cam. Pop Danthology 2013 is a close second.

I swear 2007-2009 were the good years for memories. 2010 (or maybe 2011) was the midway point before it all went 'Boom boom boom'
But still, the new mashups aren't bad, it's just because of the selection of songs these days. They've really changed, and not exactly in a good way for most of them.
So many memories flooding back from when my two sons were young. The fun we had in car rides listening to the radio. I didn't appreciate it then as life was chaotic at best.
Thank you for these mixes. It really has transported me back. Great memories made even tho I didn't realise at the time ❤️
2007, 2008, and 2009 were the best years for music hands down, perfect blend of R&B, hip hop, and pop. Music went downhill after that..

As the years passes and the music changed, so did I, and while the music of2007 comperd to todays music is so much better, I now that the man I am today is better then the man I was back then. But that music that used to be, will always be close to my heart and remained me that even though I changed, she didn't. I hope you feel the same.

I belong to those, who miss the damn time period between 2009 and 2012. You know why?
Because i was in grade 5 (to 7/8) and music was since then, next to school,
THE ONLY "gift" that satisfied me until the year 2013.
Some people said back then that "it all sound the same" or "it's boring"or "we had enough
club music - it's nothing new" -- and i can understand how they came to their opinion.
BUT atleast the artists knew that they have to go with the dance/electro-sound, and therefore
they made (in my ears) varying R&B- and Pop-Songs which i really like. There was even a
Pop-Elite: David Guetta, Taio Cruz,Pitbull, Flo-Rida, Usher, Ne-Yo, Chris Brown & Others...
to name a few of my favourites. The lyrics didn't made an impact ...yeah, I know. But did you
hear what these new artists (and maybe the "old ones") actually say? I couldn't figure out any
kinds of interesting messages in there, but that's because i'm not even listening anymore
BECAUSE EVERY F***ING ARTIST WITH SOME SIMPLE SHIT CAN BE A SUPERSTAR!!!
