This may be a unpopular opinion, and You have to do ultimately what’s best for you and your family assuming that both of you want this, otherwise there will be bitterness in the relationship. As a mother of a Nicu baby, I can’t imagine not having family nearby to help out and give you a break. Your relationship will be stronger when you have the ability to have breaks together and separate. Also, keep in mind no matter where you move there will always be challenging times. Stand strong and face them where ever you end up.
Was just thinking the same thing when I heard they were moving. The hardest part in life sometimes is realizing that the world is not always our oyster lol.
I always loved your NY apartment. I think a busy city that’s not too crazy matches your energy and vibe. You can always fly back home to see family or they can fly over. You have a stable and steady partner by your side, your entire experience when you were pregnant was the true test of your relationship. If you can get through that together you can get through anything. At the end of the day life isn’t perfect and neither are our decisions. Do what makes you happy for now and if it doesn’t work out in the long run that’s cool too. Life is all about movement, you’re lucky you have the freedom and opportunity to make this move. No need to feel guilty. I hope it works out for you Renee 🤗
Boston is truly such a beautiful city! I grew up in the suburbs around Boston and now live in the city with my husband and love it, especially in the warmer months :) Hope you, Z, and Bryson are able to find a great home and community here if you end up moving. So happy for y'all, Renee! 💛
I pray everything works out if Boston is truly where you both want to be as a family ❤ the significantly higher costs, bigger city environment and distance from family seems like the opposite direction of what you wanted when y’all when were briefly looking at suburb Florida homes.
Boston sounds good, the apartments though look all similar and not so different from the current one in Tampa...I thought you wanted a house with a garden, yard? Maybe I missed something in the last vlogs.
I have lived in Boston for over 25 yrs. It is a beautiful city BUT here are some things to consider... Cost of living and especially housing is literally insane!!! I make a good salary but I can't get ahead! Also, driving in Boston is a nightmare. Many Bostonians are NOT warm and friendly too...
In the best way possible I think moving away from family is probably something that shouldn’t be done. Especially because you have voiced that it’s hard for you to do this mainly by yourself and you need help, so if you are moving somewhere that you have no one then your mental health will probably plummet further. I think with you still newly post partum and Bry being so little you should consider staying around family so you have others to reach out to and be able to come and help you when you need.
Lol at people warning you about the frigid Boston winters. The past few winters have had very little snow and higher than average temps (save for an odd day here or there).
I understand the want to have a fresh start, but the cost of living in Boston is really high, especially compared to Tampa. Not to mention, the winters in Boston are pretty harsh, so be prepared to be stuck in the house with an infant. You also won’t be near any of your family members, and as a mother of a 18 month old, I couldn’t imagine living away from my family. Moving to a new city would’ve been a good idea if it was just the two of you, but I don’t believe it’s the best decision with an infant. Sorry if I’m playing devil’s advocate here..
Agreed...family is so important! Sometimes moving is running away from something. Better to overcome the struggles or it will just be one move after another.
I agree with this sentiment. Boston is full of people her age, but none of them have kids yet. It’s going to be hard for them to integrate as a family. Families are in the burbs and are in their 30’s. The winter is going to be limiting and there are just days there that you aren’t going to want to bundle a NICU baby in a puffer jacket and take him out in 0 degree weather. If there’s a snow storm, you aren’t going anywhere. My cousin had a baby and lived in an apartment in white plains with her husband. She developed post partum depression during the winters there. She felt trapped inside all day with a crying infant. They moved to FL during the pandemic where they are originally from and she’s been much happier. The daughter was also a NICU baby and is now thriving.
I don’t understand the hype over these luxury apartments. The apartments in Boston (specifically luxury ones) are incredibly outrageously expensive. I thought the house idea in Florida was such a great idea. Especially with a baby.
I’m originally from south Florida and have lived in Chicago for 10 years now. I’ve got an almost 2 and almost 4 year old and we love it here in the summer and fall but winter with kids has been a bit of a struggle feeling more cooped up- definitely considered moving back but we love the walkability, lakefront etc. There are definitely family friendly and safer neighborhoods- Lincoln park, lakeview, Andersonville, roscoe village, edgewater if you decide to explore this area. Good luck!
@@alism9162 the suburbs are definitely going to be safer! But if she’s looking to live in a city, I think there are areas in Chicago proper that are just as safe as Boston.
I was wondering, haven’t seen your best friend in any of your vlogs lately. I hope you guys haven’t fallen out with each other :( . When she had a baby I remember you were there for her and it seems strange that she’s not in the picture now that you have yours.
I’m 100% on board for doing what works for YOUR family! My husband and I moved to the Bay Area when our daughter was 8 months old. Completely away from family and it was the best decision we made. We grew so close, just the three of us. Fast forward a couple of years and our daughter was diagnosed with cancer. And while we were away from family, we are 100% grateful we are literally next door to some of the best pediatric oncologists and hospital in the world, for her specific cancer. And we always said if we moved, it would only be to Boston, DC, Seattle, Chicago, or NY bc they have the best drs for our daughter’s cancer and post-treatment issues. Do what you want to do for your family!!!
Boston is a great choice! We live 30 min south of Boston. There are a lot of nice family towns north and south of Boston. Lots of wealthy family towns. You are right about the vibe of Boston. My daughter loves going into Boston with her friend to walk around and shop on Newbury street. Great colleges and lots of great jobs as well. Lots to explore. Good luck!! I think the crime rate is a lot lower than alot of the other major cities
I live outside of Boston, and it's great. The winter can be harsh, but if you can handle fridget temps, gray days, and snow, you will be fine. I count the days for spring. It's beautiful here!

Soooo happy you're looking at Boston! It really is a beautiful walkable city and dog friendly. Massachusetts also has some of the best schools in the country if you end up looking to buy a house in the suburbs one day. I loved apartment 2. Definitely choose a spot near family & friends - it will help the city feel more like home.
I went to Boston for the first time as a 24 year old women and walked ALL around downtown by myself at 9 pm and i felt so safe. definitely a great place to live!
Your videos motivate me so much. Even when you have a bad day and go through hard time, you are such an inspiring person and each video you post gives me a "kick". I know its hard to work with your baby and all other life issuse you currently have, but please know that each single video you post is a blessing for me (even if its 5 minutes long). Thank you and I wish you all the best in Boston or wherever you end up spening this next chapter of your life ❤
It seems like boston would be hard to live with a baby. It's incredibly expensive, especially the areas youre drawn too, and the winters can be harsh. There are areas you can walk around, but not all year, especially when it's snowing or raining. Definitely still going to need a car and that weather can be terrible to drive in. I know many people from there who moved here to Florida to get away from the winters there! Also, people with families tend to live in the suburbs. Those high rises are more geared towards single people or those without children. Not to mention the whole college town vibes with a bunch of partiers. It seems as if you just like moving around and the thrill of exploring new places. I hope you can find a place to settle down eventually for your son. Traveling is great but with kids having a stable home to grow up in without constantly switching schools and having to make new friends is more important than the thrill of always moving around like when you were single.
If you end up moving to an older building in Boston, be aware that large furniture like couches and queen box springs can sometimes have trouble fitting. It's much better to consider this possibility ahead of time and avoid an awkward situation where your couch doesn't fit and you don't know what to do.
I love you Renee and support you guys in whatever you do 💛 but right after having a baby, your family and your support system is in Florida, why are you moving away from that? You might have talked about that in this video so sorry I’m just now watching it 😊💛
Brookline area in Boston is great to raise a family. Lived in Boston for 5 years and loved every moment. Just a warning, the winter is very harsh and depressing.
This was a fun vlog to watch! I liked Apt 2 and 4 the most. I do think if you chose the location where more family/friends are then that would be great! You can always find a way to get that way though if you start out somewhere else. I’m happy that you all have some people around and the medical care is great!
I like the 2nd apartment best. It's so nice to be able to see trees from your windows when living in the city. And Renee, imagine autumn colors.. so cozy!!🍁🌳
I live in MA and worked in Boston for a long time...For the city, I think the Seaport area and Fort Point Channel might be best for you in terms of walking and having lots to do right outside your door, but it will be pricey, but is young and exciting. A rental along Beacon St. in the Back Bay near Newbury would be nice too. Just outside Boston - Chestnut Hill, Newton, Brookline - you may get a bit more space, and outdoor space for your money :) Beware, public transportation is not the best - the MBTA is not reliable, has safety issues (structural and equipment related) and they just hired a new director to try to get on top of things. You will be relying on Uber most likely.
So excited about Boston for you and you family! It is beautiful and such a fun city. I’m obsessed with Back Bay but it is $$$$. And yes the winters will be so cold - but nothing that good gear can’t fix. Spring, summer and fall will make the few cold months so worth it! Best of luck!!!
I understand what you're saying about giving your dog the best hope, but if it's lymphoma, there may not be much they can do. I personally could never leave my pet; especially knowing there might not be much time with her. I would want to be there on that day, when they see their human for the last time, and know it's okay to go.
I agree with you. I am not able to fully grasp the logic behind leaving Nova. Her time is limited and it is sad to see her being given back. Truly breaks my heart!
I agree fully. I don’t think some people realize that animals too have emotions and needs and I can’t imagine the additional stress Nova is going thru being away from the people she loves. I am so sad about it. And then to move away? 😢
Renee, this is crazy you are moving so close to me! (Ive been following you since 2018) i think your son would benefit from the schools and the medical care he needs. One thing i want to caution you about is it gets COLD and i mean frigid during our winters. Weve been having more mild winters as of late, but just a cautionary thing for youre little one. Also, taxes are extremely high in mass and even more so in the city. I think it will be a nice move for you, but i am trying to get out of here, although i live in western mass so its not the city life. I wish you and your family the best of luck with the move and everything!!! ❤❤❤
You never adopted a dog, you purchased a dog from a breeder, if you feel horrible about people giving away dogs, you should’ve adopted a dog, there’s thousands of dogs up for adoption, while thousands are sacrificed daily or die in shelters, you decided to buy one, don’t be an hypocrite with the topic.
That's so cool that you are thinking of moving to Boston. I grew up in the suburbs of Boston, but live in New Hampshire now. There are a lot of dangerous areas, so I'm glad that you are doing research. I live up here & want to move to FL so bad. It's my fave place.
App 4 i enjoyed the view the most. As you said i would deffo go area over appartement itself (70/30). You can always spend time and money to make everything more beautiful and the way you like. But you wanna be excited to step out of your house and enjoy your neighbourhood vibe. Neighbours are important too of course.
I am normally not someone commenting videos but this one I had to. I’m from Germany and lived in Boston for 1 1/2 years as an Au Pair and let me tell you it‘s the best city you could live in especially with a baby. I‘ve been to many cities in the states but Boston has been by far my favorite. Really happy for you if you get the chance to live there. It’s a great choice!! Sending lots of love from Germany🤍🤍
How'd you go from looking at houses in FL to Boston in a matter of weeks lol? The winters are so different lol. I moved around a few times in my 30's but eventually got tired of trying to start over again. In my 40's I finally moved back to one of those places and though the first two years were a struggle I finally have a decent community of interesting people to lean on and winters aren't too bad. Had to give up the big city though.
Apartment 2 was stunning and I know you loved those floor to ceiling windows! If that area around there was a good situation then that one might be the one :) Love you ❤
I grew up North of Boston and worked in Boston for years. I would definitely recommend looking for the safest area first. The common is nice but not the safest at night. Newbury St is full of restaurants and beautiful shops. I would suggest somewhere like that location. Love your hair!
I used to live outside of Boston as a child. I have many great memories of Christmas concerts on the common with Arthur Fiedler and the Pops. Yes I’m old lol. Great town.
My brother lives in Somerville and loves it! I’ve been snow sledding in the commons (it’s fun and beautiful in the winter too)!! I would just consider weather bc it is cold there more than it is warm I feel like 😊
Wow! Boston is a great city and New England is very interesting & beautiful. It's also nice to be in close-ish proximity to the lovely province of Québec. One has to embrace the cold winters, though, or else it can be very difficult. Best of luck wherever you decide to go!
Not gonna lie: the T absolutely sucks but parking in Boston sucks even more. Makes sense to want to move there because of Children's Hospital though. More residential areas of Boston like JP won't have the new construction you seem to prefer but definitely have the charm.
Aww I wouldn’t have guessed Boston, but it honestly sounds amazing for you guys. I hope it all works out and you two find the best place for your little family. Also praying that Nova gets better, she was the sweetest thing. ps. Milwaukee is a growing city, clean, safe, still on the cheaper end, and close ish to Chicago. I’d check it out.
I support you in moving to a new area and getting a fresh start. I think it can be a good thing. The area and people in Boston may be a better fit for you than Florida. I moved to Florida from a more northern state a few years ago and I am looking to move closer to my home state in the next year. I have enjoyed being here in Florida, but not sure if it's for me long term. It sounds like you have friends and family in Boston as well. You lived in New York so you know how the northern winters are. And, you never know until you try. The Boston apartments were all beautiful. The only issue for me was that the latches to open some of the windows were very low. When Bryson starts to walk it would make me a little nervous. I wish you the best of luck with whatever decision you make.
Apartment 2 was my favorite! And #4 was my second! Looks beautiful in Boston! Me and my husband are moving soon he just got a life changing job offer we are so blessed and so thankful 🙏 God is great . I hope you guys are doing great ❤
You look beautiful Renee and i know this fresh start is what you and your family need ❤️ I've been loving your simple yet aesthetic thumbnails lately ✨️
Thank you for taking us along! Very pretty apartments! I liked the second one, a little small. I have an almost two year old and believe me it goes so fast. He's going to be crawling before you know it. You are going to want more space. You should look into the Florida burbs. Then you are close to family and you'll have more space and can set down roots. Get married and have more babies!! You wont want your family to miss all the milestones that Bryson is going to hit within the next year or two. Trust me! Honestly, cities are overrated way to expensive and everywhere is dangerous but at least in the suburbs you can have more security. You can find a burb that has a nice downtown area too! Naperville, IL is very nice! Then we can be Mom friends!! 😊
I didn't want to say anything in the last vlogs but our cat had similar symptoms and we had to take her to dye because she was suffering too much and wasn't herself most of the last two years. She was 8 years when she died and suffered a lot of surgeries the last 3-4 years of her life. We didn't want to put her through them anymore because she was becoming so weak. We knew we did the best for her and sometimes it's just that... We have to be strong and just let her go. I miss her still to this day. It has been one year and a half. I still cry all the time but I love keeping her pic up because our oldest even though she was 2 when we lost her she still remembers her. And the cute memory that we have is our daughter's first word being "gata" which means cat in Portuguese. We still haven't got a new pet but I need one because my heart still has a hole to fill and I know I will feel better when I get another cat because she will remind me of my old one. Hope you find peace with your doggy
Hi Renee! My 1st choice was Apt 4, w/washer & dryer but , no gas stove! Zander likes to cook! Good cooks prefer gas appliances. So, if Apt 2 has a washer & dryer? Apt 2 is my 1st choice! Apt 1 was nice but a parking lot rt outside the master is not the way to go. Have a fantastic day. Looking forward to your next Boston vlog❣️
apartment #1 that roof was amazing and all the windows and the kitchen was beautiful. They all are you have really good taste in housing!! Love your channel reminds me no matter how fancy or how much money you have we all go through stuff and its been really awesome to see your journey! Your family is in my prayers at night!
I think she actually gets bored when she stays in one place. Since i've been watching her she can't seem to settle anywhere for that long. Seems like the grass is always greener...
@Michellette that's right, but i meant it's boring for the people living with her. They might accept her decisions as a compliment, but they won't be comfortable and won't last long with her. Everyone should be careful when it comes to setting or choosing decisions that affect other ppl"s lives.
@vevomemo129 I agree. It's one thing when you're young and single to move around, but once you have a child and a partner to think of, it seems a bit much, and a huge waste of money.
You could look for Boston Suburbs, as most of the good parts of boston are on the outside and closer to suburbs, you will get a house with a yard too, and also close to the good places boston has to offer and not too in the city thats its not safe, but Boston is pretty good and boston suburbs are really good too
Also there is research to suggest that young children under the age of 3 may not be able to fully understand the content of cartoons they are watching on TV. And this can lead to potential negative effects on their cognitive development.
i hope boston is everything you want it to be for y'all. going somewhere new must be exciting. i've just travelled a few times, never lived in another city. i like apartment 2 with the windows but as others said choose the neighborhood first as opposed to the house. where i live (in one of the most crime-ridden cities in the us lmao) i live in a pretty good little neighborhood. crime happens of course but i've lived here is this same neighborhood my whole life and i've never had anything happen to me specifically, thank goodness.
Boston is beautiful! There are also really trendy, smaller and suburban like cities right outside of Boston that you may like (i.e Cambridge or Somerville which are about 10-15 outside Boston). Just a thought!

It’s my belief I may be wrong but she seems so mixed up I don’t think she knows what she wants
Yeah she has a little indecisive energy, I've been watching for about 2 years, but she's very sweet regardless
the second apartment was the prettiest out of all
Apartment 2 is my favorite too
Yes! Apartment 2 :)
I agree ❤
Nothing like being close to family so your child can get to know them. Time goes too fast and we have to appreciate family while we have them.
Very true
I don’t know if the move will work for you as you seem to move as soon as you feel bored or are having a mental health struggle
She is moving for her son future not because she is bored
@mianyc3873 Yeah but odds are she'll move again in the next year or two anyway like always.

This is the smartest thing you could do for your Family!!! A new start!!!
Just outside Boston - Chestnut Hill, Newton, Brookline - you may get a bit more space, and outdoor space for your money :)
Beware, public transportation is not the best - the MBTA is not reliable, has safety issues (structural and equipment related) and they just hired a new director to try to get on top of things. You will be relying on Uber most likely.
All the apartments were soooo stunning! I hope one of them works out for you guys! Bryson is looking cuter every day!
Apartment 2 was my favourite but I loved the views from Apartment 4 😊
The second apartment gave me vibes of the current apartment , that you are in!!!🙏🦋
I understand what you're saying about giving your dog the best hope, but if it's lymphoma, there may not be much they can do.
Oh goodness. You’ll be moving again in a year
Boston is a wonderful city!! On a side note, I work with lots of families in Park Slope, Brooklyn. It is very safe and family-friendly.
I know you love the newer apartments but Boston has so many older apartments with amazing character! I went to college right on the Commons.
Sounds like BU. My best friend went there and I visited her a lot! I also ended up living right down the street a few years later.
#2 was my favorite ! Still like your Florida home and being near the grandparents 🫶
My favourite days of watching you was in New York the productivity the editing the aesthetics!Qoals
YOUR HAIR LOOKS FABULOUS!!!!!
Dude bostons cute in the summer but fall winter cold AF girl dont do it
Apartment 2 was stunning and I know you loved those floor to ceiling windows! If that area around there was a good situation then that one might be the one :) Love you ❤
I've lived in different cities over the last decade, and location always trumps apartment!! Location can definitely make or break your experience.
Well said.
I would just consider weather bc it is cold there more than it is warm I feel like 😊
Boston! How exciting! I lean more toward Apt #2. Bryson just gets cuter all the time, if that's even possible. He's got THE sweetest face! ❤
Wow! Boston is a great city and New England is very interesting & beautiful. It's also nice to be in close-ish proximity to the lovely province of Québec. One has to embrace the cold winters, though, or else it can be very difficult. Best of luck wherever you decide to go!
New chapter!
I absolutely love the hair color… 😁👍🏻
Not gonna lie: the T absolutely sucks but parking in Boston sucks even more. Makes sense to want to move there because of Children's Hospital though. More residential areas of Boston like JP won't have the new construction you seem to prefer but definitely have the charm.
awesome i am from south georgia i lived in newton mass for 8yr loved it location is very important in the boston area. good luck with your move .
Um I live in mass but Boston is expensive and I thought they were leaving the Florida condo because of money
Love Boston! I lived in Acton for 3 years 30 years ago! Love the history of New England!
Apartment 2 was my favorite! And #4 was my second! Looks beautiful in Boston! Me and my husband are moving soon he just got a life changing job offer we are so blessed and so thankful 🙏 God is great . I hope you guys are doing great ❤
Boston is my favorite place ever ❤ so happy and excited for you
Boston in the fall!! 🍁
Boston is stunning! My boyfriend and I love that city as well. Just keep in mind the winters are brutal!!
You look beautiful Renee and i know this fresh start is what you and your family need ❤️ I've been loving your simple yet aesthetic thumbnails lately ✨️
So excited for this new chapter in Boston! I live just outside of Boston and love it!! Good luck
So happy for you you making the right moves the baby is so cute and please ignore the negative peoples comments love you good luck
The second apartment looked like your style, based on the previous places you’ve lived. Floor to ceiling windows, loads of natural light… ❤
I moved to a new apartment with my fiancé this past weekend too! So exciting 💗
I love Chicago when I lived there! You should at least visit to go see the big bean! A lot of art there,it’s beautiful ❤
I'm sure Boston will be perfect for Bryson and I hope you all love it should you move there. It looks like such a pleasant area🤩!
Im so happy to hear from u again, but i find it boring to move each year or two, dont u feel the same?
@@michelle75504 saaaaaame thinkin.👌
You could look for Boston Suburbs, as most of the good parts of boston are on the outside and closer to suburbs, you will get a house with a yard too, and also close to the good places boston has to offer and not too in the city thats its not safe, but Boston is pretty good and boston suburbs are really good too
OMG BOSTON?! HEY NEIGHBOR!! you're gonna love it here, its just super expensive to live here. the 2nd apartment was stunning!!
Also there is research to suggest that young children under the age of 3 may not be able to fully understand the content of cartoons they are watching on TV. And this can lead to potential negative effects on their cognitive development.
Omg Renee I’ve been watchin* forever, and I’m so close to Boston! I’d love to meet up and grab a coffee or lunch!
OMG YAY!!!! I wouldn't have guessed Boston, but I LOVE IT!! 🥰
Exciting to see your journey in new beginnings! Best of luck! Love your videos no matter what you’re putting on 🤍
i hope boston is everything you want it to be for y'all. going somewhere new must be exciting. i've just travelled a few times, never lived in another city. i like apartment 2 with the windows but as others said choose the neighborhood first as opposed to the house. where i live (in one of the most crime-ridden cities in the us lmao) i live in a pretty good little neighborhood. crime happens of course but i've lived here is this same neighborhood my whole life and i've never had anything happen to me specifically, thank goodness.
The Assembly Row area in Somerville is a great area. Great hospital, food, shopping. Next to T station. You'll be an hour away! 😊
I loved the second apartment. All the greenery viewed from the main living areas were beautiful 😀
All the apartments were perfect, but I loved the views from Apartment 4.
Ouooo. Boston sounds exciting. I love exploring. If I was in a good financial setting I'd be state hopping. ❤❤
amazing vlog, wish you good luck with your new journey❤
& pls can you share what is your diaper backpack 😅🥰
Apartment 2. It’s stunning. Can I ask what the price ranges are for 2 bedrooms. I always wanted to move to Boston. Favorite city 😅
Soo happy for you Ney!
And the history in Boston! So cool!! I loved Apt 2!! ❤❤
2 or 4 4 has the best view love your channel and Bryson is to cute your doing a wonderful job renee
Love the hair! & I like apartment 2 the best :)
I’m so excited for you guys! Bryson is such a sweetie!!!
Boston is beautiful! There are also really trendy, smaller and suburban like cities right outside of Boston that you may like (i.e Cambridge or Somerville which are about 10-15 outside Boston). Just a thought!
So excited for you! LOVED apartment 2!
I wish you a happy life because you deserve it. Secondly, I liked the first and second houses the most، ilove you 💘❤️💕
