    I strongly recommend that anyone interested in the topic of current day China read the ASPI (Australian Strategic Policy Institute) Two-Decade Critical Technology Tracker updated on 28 August 2024. This report is funded primarily by the Australian government and previously by the US State Department. This report concludes that China is leading in 57 of 64 critical technologies. Please read the detailed report for an eye-opening analysis of the enormous lead that China has in critical technology fields. To what extent Chinese policy making is shaped/influenced by the changing technological balance of power would be an interesting discussion topic.

    The combination of Mr Czin "swallowing" the final syllable of certain words, his accent and the poor modulation of his microphone makes it hard to follow his exposition
