Willow Peak & The Arch, Cold Creek, NV Scramble Hail Rain

Willow Peak is at the northern end of the Spring Mountains of Southern Nevada. Willow Peak towers behind the mountain village of Cold Creek.
The more popular route is via the Bonanza Trail. Along this route there is some fun scrambling along the ridge. You will hike right by a natural arch which acts as a window to Cold Creek. The Arch can be seen from the dirt road. Here is my personal trip to this arch and Willow Peak.
The weather was fantastic for the most part. After I summited Willow Peak, on my way back, was caught in the storm. It showered me with hail, and rain but then blessed me a beautiful rainbow. Enjoy!
