I can't take any antihistamines :( Fexofenadine makes me dizzy and confused and I'm finding lately the brown Ashma pump makes my chest feel tight making me feel like I'm about to have a heart attack. Would love to know a natural alternative to these medications. Also, I've never known so many people to start having asthma during the summer months I'm sure it's all being done for a reason or there's something else triggering us this time of year ie chemicals being used in fruit, veg, oils ( rape seed) or our water has an increase in chemicals this time of year.
You can take strong tablets, but at night. The the lighter ones like Lorandine in the day time that do not make you drowsy. Natural products: 3 gloves of garlic will last several hours as an anti histamine. Maybe coconut meat. I find that helpful. If you use vape then maybe try a pod smoking device which can lessen the likely hood of it causing a cough.
This is amazing information.ive been suffering for years with a tight chest.doctors havent explained anything to me. I have hayfever and allergies. This year I have an inhaler and seems to work. You are the first to explain everything about it. Thankyou so much.
Really helpful information & presented in a logical way. I usually just use my inhalers in a sort of "as needed" chaotic fashion. Good advice on the OTC histamines as well.

Maybe see your GP and discuss the effectiveness of your asthma pump.
