By the way, to give you an example from the mainstream, Tarantino is also famous for his long cuts (too), e.g. the part of Four Rooms that concerns him is full of them, and I think his record is in Grindhouse: Death Proof, a 7m17s uncut scene, when the girls are talking in a bistro.
