Good to see you back. Have missed your videos. Bike sounds great which is not always the case as microphones/video cameras often make engines sound like a bag if nails. I enjoyed the engine rebuild series and picked up some tips for my own rebuild. Loved the valve shimming on the bench hack. Used that one!
Hope we get to see more of your work via the channel. Great watching and listening to a genuine expert . I've picked up so many tips from your vids even though I've worked on bikes since 1973 as a young lad. I'm an old arthritic bloke now but still maintain my own bikes and a good mates bikes. Everydays a school day to me still. Thanks for all your channel content and expert advice n tips. Pleasure watching your work. 🏍️💨👍
Top job as ever Jim. Great to see you back. I’ve always used Castrol oil’s in my bikes. No scientific knowledge on oil performance. It just goes back to me loving the smell of Castrol R when I was a nipper watching 2 stroke motor cross.
Impossible to say without knowing what parts may be needed. You could easily add 1k to the price if the head needed valves and valve guides. The bill for the GSXR750 in this video was 5k
Hey i have gsxr 750 k8 do i need to get engine out to change camchain? And also how to inspect the cct is it still good or i have to buy new one if i am changing the cam chain?
My bike doesn't smoke either on low or high revs, but consumes a lot of oil. My motorcycle is versys 650. It goes from max to min in about 1000 km. Leaks are nowhere to be found. What is that sorcery?
Only just come across your channel but binge watched this rebuild. Absolutely top drawer workmanship. Thanks for sharing this 🙏
Thanks for watching!
Hats off to Suzuki, the owner and the mechanic 👍
Welcome back Jim. We need more stuff from you mate. I always learn something from every video 😉
Great re build, great engine. It just goes to show what regular servicing with high quality oil does.
I love tinkering with engines, but boy, it’s so much more fun/less faff watching a pro doing it 😎🔧

It’s been so long since last video, thanks for this.
Amazing. It's in such great condition.
You can turn the engine by putting it in a high gear and turning the back wheel, works beautifully.
I was just about to say this , you beat me to it by a year 😅
Great information Jim clear plus concise as ever...loving the work. 🏍️
Good to see you back jim, 1st class service from a real pro 👍
Sounds brilliant especially for a bike with over 100 thou miles
Sounds good .
Ur videos are one of the best mate❤
I've got a k2 600, just gone past 69,000 on the clocks, and I use Castrol Power 1 oil👍
sounds super clean.
Good video
Thanks, I love these kinds of videos keep them coming .🧐😎🔥💯
What would a full rebuild cost on a k3/4 gsxr1000? She runs well but I little noisy from the cam chain or top end and a few rattles I can't pin down

@@SuperbikeSurgeryTV thanks👍
Will you ever come to the states?
Proper job, that Jim! What's the highest mileage bike you've seen, mate?
What year is the bike?🤔
00-03 somewhere
2002
Hi how are you? Are you located near New Jersey?
