I'm a United fan, supported United since 97 buy I cam honestly say this Pep city team would beat any of our great teams, even Arsenal's Invincibles, who were world class too. However this city team from 2017 til now are just too dominant of the ball and too efficient in their output. He has small squad compared to alot of teams in the PL currently (20-22 players he relies on) but its just stacked full of quality.

This has already happened before, 1989/99 season, final match day, Les Ferdinand put Spurs 1-0 up against Man Utd and he looked embarrassed to score, their own fans booing. A draw would have been enough to hand the title to Arsenal (providing we won our game, which we did) but Spurs lose the game 2-1. Their heart is not going to be in it, the fans don't even want to turn up to support them.

Fans don't play on the pitch. Players and the manager don't have the fan mentality on the pitch. Some of these players have UCL incentives in their contracts. Also, if a club qualifies for UCL, their revenue increases significantly and chances of signing big name players increases.

Your waffling. Ake throughout his career has been a consistent highly rated centre back. He was at Chelsea originally for a reason and had a sustainable prem career for a reason. We brought him due to his attributes he has and hes been a great signing for us and every city fan loves him and will say the same thing.
