So after creating some beautiful memories of Ooty hill station. We headed to Mangalore which was our next place of Halt at approx 9 hr 30 min drive to cover a distance of 329+ Km.
Made an overnight halt at Hotel Goldfinch in Mangalore city.
Route from Mangalore to Goa is very scenic and during monsoon it looks the best with plenty of green covers and arabian sea beside it. The NH-66 highway at many stretches runs parallel along the coast of Arabian sea, starting from Trasi to upto Gokarna.
Trasi Beach - a beautiful beach near Marvante beach, lined with coconut trees and benches, giving you some time to pause and reflect while watching the sea waves crash against the boulders.
On the way to Goa we visited the famous Lord Shiva's temple at Murdeshwar. The temple boasts of the second highest statue of Lord Shiva in the world.

So during a 2 weeks school holiday we planned for a road trip to South India. And since we wanted to visit some colder place during summer, we decided to do a road trip to Ooty in Tamilnadu.
We reached our hotel Gem Park in Ooty and this hotel can be highly recommended for the overall experience and best view of the valley.

thank you so much for the comment. Actually i just missed to take underpass in a moment of confusion while following the Google map. I too realised about it immediately once I missed it. But nevertheless Mangalore to Goa highway driving is an amazing and beautiful experience in itself.. ♥️🙏
