Your content is getting better and better! Wish you were over here in America mapping out all the best places to go! One day I'll sail over there and will forever remember your videos. Great job!
Hi Edward, bet you have brilliant sailing grounds and probably much better weather than we have. One day I would like to sail over to you guys, one day. Regards mike
Think it's €5 dinghy charge. Lovely anchorage off Sherkin island in line with the castle. The invention of the floatation suit (Captain Boynton) was tested out here
Well we were going to do the Horseshoe but time may not be on our side. We are going to start working our way back now so the missed anchorages and harbours will have to wait ☹️
Delighted to see your progress. Baltimore is brilliant and you should stop off for a few hours at Sherkin Island. Hope you're both enjoying if as much as you appear to be.
Can’t get to see everything in the short time we have. Would love to have all summer, especially this one which is being so kind. We are both loving it ❤️ thanks mike
Well done the adventure continues baltimore is where the French sail school used to operate out of le glenanse it was called . That where I did my sail training courses All my qualifications are in French and I don't speak French . I do hope ye get nice weather for the fastnet. Cheers John
Hi John, you will never know what they have qualified you in then ?? It’s still very popular with French yachts. Weather hopefully holding out 🤞🏼best regards mike and Lisa
Salty Lass anchored in bay just before Galley head. I hadn't realised there was an anchorage in there. Good to know in case tide turned against you. Last time we sailed that stretch of sea we went into Glandore as tide turned before we reached our planed anchorage.
We are next anchorage down, Castletownshend. Nice pub here and it was a lovely pint 🍺. We could have gone on but we were using the motor so let’s see what tomorrow brings. Ps Salty lass next to us in anchorage lol mike
@@sailingcosiloveit I’m a local, we just call it the Beacon. Tourism literature often call it Lot’s Wife (after a disobedient biblical wifey who ignored god’s instructions, looked back on the evil city of Sodom as she fled, and got turned into a pillar of salt 😂). It’s the Beacon for me!
These two are living their best lives right now.
One life, live it ❤️

The most beautiful part of the World. Wait till you see Bantry and Kenmare. Wish I was there.
Hi Matthew, I wish I was there! Making or way east at the moment ⛵️
