Thank you!! I have always used synthetic 5w30 with a Toyota OEM yzzn1 filter.

@@solomongreen9468 I use pennzoil platinum, but any brand of synthetic would be totally fine.
What does it mean if that part is leaking coolant off the top?
I’d guess that how it seals internally has failed and It probably needs to be replaced, that or one of the hose connections is bad.
What is that part called?
Toyota Part # 87240-12260 $96.48 @ Toyota Dealer in PA. It is Heater Control Valve. Had the same issue and found this video and did some research. Part number on the part does not match the dealer part number. Denso RN137B
