I have a question, when you shade, do you end up doing a rough guesstimate of where they fall? I have the hardest time trying to figure out light source!
Oh man, that would have been an Adobe Live episode, but not sure which one :( I'm sure it's still online on the Adobe Asia Pacific channel if you feel like looking for it :/ I will make another (not 2hr long) video on that soon though.
This is dope, Really helped me ALOT, just which I saw this sooner. I just have one question, that brush you are using, where can i get it? I'm in need of nice brushes for Photoshop and Illustrator. Keep up the work, I like your style cause my style is like 90% the same as yours.
Hey man, really appreciate the awesome feedback! Glad you're getting something out of these videos! The brush I'm using is Kyle's Manga Smoothy - it's free with your CC membership. If you go to your brushes panel and click on the options and go to "get more brushes" it'll take you to this page www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/brushes.html?promoid=XKMMHH6G&mv=other where you can download any brush pack you want - I got that one out of the Manga Brushes pack. Good luck!
@@JeremyLord5000 thanks man, really appreciate it. Keep up the good content, I can promise you im not the only one getting alot of help and inspiration from your videos. 🔥🔥🔥
Man, I really like your art style. You should double your upload rate. I've been binging your Tutorials on Adobe Asia Pacific Channel and I'm starting to run out of your videos to watch. Lmao. Hope you do more tutorials from scratch. Also, if I'm not mistaken from one of your vids, you mentioned that Ai can make the illustration process a lot faster especially with your art style, maybe you should do a series for Ai tutorials too? I really hope you do! 🙏🙏🙏
Hey man, thanks so much for that! The plan is to upload once a week at least but I'm still trying to balance freelance work and making UA-cam vids for the moment... will definitely get more content up here soon! And yes, I do think Ai would be more efficient (and probs faster) for getting the smooth lines and flat fills I like to work with... But efficient and fast doesn't always mean more enjoyable. I feel Ps is still waaaaay more fun to use and far more like doing a drawing than the process of image "building" that Ai kinda locks you in to if that makes sense. I think I'll always use Ps over Ai for the bulk of my work but each to their own. If you prefer Ai, then you should use Ai for sure!
Thank you for this tutorial. I will use this technique today
you just did the opposite of what i usually do and yet its the same principle, and easier!
thanks you so much 😭
Always a million ways to do the same thing in Photoshop! Glad my way could help you! :)
Thank you helped a lot
YOU SAVED MY LIFE
First time saw your channel it's really great tutorials, thank you so much

Awesome thanks Jeremy. I saw you do this with adobe a while back. You went into back lighting. Is that video around?

Damnn thanks dude can't u teach this thing in after effects or Adobe illustrator
Thanks man! Much appreciated! You mean teach how to shade in Ae, or just do Ae and Ai tutes?
Ae and Ai combine would be great
bluring is more better when making it realistic or smoother
