@@_belizeanperfection7563 it's not a negative comment. It's something that should be common sense. You can damage your head permanently. Chimical burns are no joke. Not to mention your hair might never grow back. It NEEDS to be said.

@@_belizeanperfection7563 Hunny these chemicals are very dangerous to combine. She could have seriously injured herself for life. We do not have time to sugarcoat or tiptoe around feelings. When children have access to this app and may think this okay to do. Someone needs to call BS on this.
as a cosmetologist, i just want to warn everyone here that perms and relaxers are NEVER to be done on color treated hair, ESPECIALLY bleached hair. the process of perming or relaxing hair is extremely harsh on your hair, because you are literally breaking down the structure of your hair and permanently reshaping it. color weakens your hair as it is, so anyone with colored hair or even super old color in their hair should not get a perm. your hair cannot handle it. if you are dead set on getting a perm, please just go to a salon and do a consultation. consults are usually free at salons, and they may even be able to do a test strand with perm solution for you to see how your hair would react.
What about no ammonia and no peroxide color on a no lye relaxer 2 weeks later

I made a fatal mistake by putting a texturerizer in my hair one week after bleaching. My hair was gone. I got a natural fade.🤣

Good news is it’s short so in three weeks you’ll be back to where you started with fresh virgin hair.
I relax my hair and I have always been afraid to bleach it because it’s so many chemicals. As soon as I read “I bleached and permed my hair in the same day” my stomach went to my throat. I was cringing the whole time. But in the end, you came out of it stunningly! You look amazing bald.

Don't ever bleach hair with in a couple of days of each other guarantee that your hair will fall out

What does it being 2021 have to do with anything? Lots of ppl make this mistake for multiple reasons... She learned her lesson and is sharing this video in hopes to help prevent this for others. Try being more kind, it feels good 🙂

I'm a licensed cosmetologist and these are two of the strongest chemicals you need to allow time in between to strengthen your hair back i would never do both same day

Girl I've been in this place, I went to the shop and needed a touch up for color and perm. The shop was like nope, color first and see you in two weeks. Welp I waited a week, went to a different shop, lied to the shop and got the perm. Hair started falling out when they were rinsing. Shop started crying, I felt like the idiot a-hole that I was and came clean on the situation. She bring the amazing person she is, cut my hair off and wigged me up. Girl when I say hardheaded.

@@gabriellesmith4552 I wouldn't do it, I strongly go against this, because once perm hit the hair, it will start shading and pop off. I'm speaking from experience, I put color in my hair once, waited and put perm over it, and yes it begin to break off

I have to say, you really showed such grace in taking what happened in stride. I went to a professional and went back the next day with a gallon ziplock bag full of my dyed blonde hair that had fallen out. Turns out, a random person was going around to salons selling bleach powder from Germany(that doesn’t matter, I just remember that point). Needless to say, I didn’t know that until after the stylist ruined my hair and it fell off. You really have so much composure that many probably would not in the given situation.
Thank you so much! I learned to have more patience. Seek professional help, but I also needed this experience to shed some unknown feelings I needed to heal. So yes, I'll be doing an update soon. I'm so you had that experience, that be my fear too. It's not a fair game but we are here now feeling beautiful together! 💛🫂🥰 I hope you have an amazing summer and the rest of the year.

I feel for you. I did this year's ago, putting bleach and then bright red color on top, THEN 2 weeks later, I relaxed it😩. I thought my hair could handle it, but I was sadly mistaken lol. The WHOLE front of my hair fell out. I wore a hat or cap every day for over a year. You are a pretty woman and can rock the bald and short hair. We all live and learn🤷🏽♀️🧡

@Lovely me If ya'll would just leave ya'll hair alone, and do simple styles are once in a while, I honestly believe that y'all wouldn't have so many individuals with bald edges, damaged hair that don't grow, alopecia, etc. That's why guys hair are in a lot better shape, and grow faster, and longer than most of the girls I see.
Dang sis, I know you did this video at the beginning of the year, but girl. You where so ROUGH PUTTING IN THAT RELAXER THAT MY HEAD HURT FOR YOU. You rubbed that relax in your hair like it was conditioner OMG. Never been blonde do not know the process, but I am pretty sure you should have waited a couple of days or GONE TO A PROFESSIONAL that does coloring all the time and license. I know it's just hair but OMG :)

First of all, thank you for sharing this moment with us. You didn't have to. Some of us are willing to try so many things with out hair but understand the consequences until the process comes out bad. So you sharing this video will be proof to others not to make this mistake. I did the same thing and got the same results last year and just shaved it all off and now my hair is flourishing..its ok, hair grows back and it will be beautiful. Your head shape is perfect and your face is pretty....hair or no hair, you are beautiful
As a professional hairstylist never ever do 2 chemicals on the same day it’s way too harsh
Girl the way you were "working it in" I just knew what was gonna happen. I know it fell out because you processed it twice in one day but you should NEVER massage a perm in.
On your color sis, see a professional. Dig deep within yourself to learn why you don't like your natural hair color. When you do, those tears will go away. I'll be praying for strength for you to overcome whatever is troubling you. Thanks so much for being in the raw with this video.

It's 3 months later, so I am sure much of your hair has grown back by now. 🙂. Many of us have been there, or near there, with the relaxer/bleach combo. I learned that the hard way, and now embrace and love my hair colour. Well, I do use rinses sometimes too 🤣. I just want you to know that you are BEAUTIFUL with/without the hair..inside/outside. Hey mommy! You are gorgeous 🥰 You have the perfect sized head. This cut accentuates your cheekbones and glowy skin. I lost my crown 13 years ago and people were harsh, especially BM. I learned to embrace my new way of being and realize that their discomfort with my lack of hair is just that....theirs.
When learning to show yourself grace and be kind consider this: would you allow anyone to speak to a beloved friend, child, family member the way you speak to yourself? Would you allow them to treat them harshly? Absolutely not! You'd be ready to throw those hands or whatever to remove those toxic people away from them. Take that stance with yourself and the negative self talk that may creep up.
A challenge: for every negative thought or thing you speak about yourself, counter it with 5 positive statements. Speak them outloud. This helps to rewire the subconscious programming of the mind. Its a moment by moment process. Be gentle with self and flexible. Have fun with your new look. Long earrings or big hoops are popping on bald/short hair. As long as you don't have a chemical burn, your hair should be back within two weeks.

They literally tell you not to bleach your hair and relax It in the same day… I’m so sorry girl… I’ve bleached my hair off plenty of times and had to get it all cut off… I learned my lesson! It’s been five years and I haven’t died my hair at all. Now I’m embracing my natural color! Just rock what God gave you girl!

I agree with you. Short is better for me. I definitely had no idea that this was gonna happen as far as me getting emotional about it. I was shocked that is was happening. As far as my hair failing out I still felt like I had a slight chance to achieve my goal but hey I learned my lesson. 🙂

I really appreciate you sharing your journey with us. I have curly hair and I relaxed about 6 months ago. My hair is past my shoulders and I was thinking of getting it relaxed again because the effects seemed to wear off slightly and the new hair is not relaxed as well as dye the tips of my hair red I guess I will not do that now. I want to say you are very beautiful even without hair!! Thank you so much this was very informative and you helped me and most definitely other people.

You're beautiful Queen. I made this same mistake almost 9 years ago except I had long hair I had the same color then permed it. I was young foolish and didn't know much about hair now my hair has grown back healthy, it's a learning experience. Your hair doesn't define you, own it and evolve ❤️

I just don't know why someone would bleach and relax on the same day. Luckily it ended well. Remember you can wear a wig because hair grows back.
