Watching the Stars got me appreciating the bright-eyed styles of talents like Sora, talents we like to think of as conventional Japanese idols. The boys could've built their careers on lamenting having to face the toxicity they have to deal with and acting like those well-intentioned yet extreme excuses for fans who think that enraging the more toxic audiences would be way more productive, but our boys made themselves humble diamonds, and I don't think it's something meant to be easily noticed even if we wanted that to be such. I mean, if Calli introduced Rikka to me as a talent with popularity like hers, I don't know if I'd have appreciated him and his work brothers as much as I do now, and I owe so much of the maintained and renewed appreciation I have for the girls now to the boys. It may have taken me until Stars EN to really tune into the boys, but Stars JP got me good with their slow and steady work before I even knew it. Thank you so much for this Hakka clip, then, Moon.
