Would go great with some Trout & wild rice for a second course and some wojape and acorn spread on some fry bread for dessert!

The symbiotic relationship between the 3 plants is truly amazing-- a reflection of their Creator. Thank you for your video.

I am looking forward to see more videos of yours and to get more recipes for our homegrown vegetables. 😍
Though I will not peel the butternut squash. The skin gets really soft, and if you leave it on, you get more out of your squash 🫢

What kind of traditional fats/oils would have been used to cook with?

Animal fats are traditional. Tallow from bison has a very very very long shelf life.

Do you have an Amazon link for the cedar? They don’t grow where I’m at.

Do you ever do a tea or tincture with the onion/garlic paper and corn silks?

can I replace the yellow corn for Hominy? would it change the flavor of the soup? :)

Sure thing! It will make it a little less sweet but that's no big. It won't change the overall flavor much and it will be much more digestible.

I'm wondering if you could use a pineapple corer on the top of the squash and hollow it out instead and then use it as a Jack-o-lantern? That would be fun! It couls be a ghost!

Yes. That is a good sweet winter squash that would go well in this soup 😊
