great vid..... get yourself a suitable folding bicycle that fits easily in car... you can then park for free just outta town, and explore a lot more water with no parking stress..
Just came across your channel. Why have ya stopped making videos, this is great fishing and filming.
I'm going trying BFS fishing sunday I'll make a video of the experience, It looks really fun for the perch but do you have any pointers for someone just getting into BFS fishing and why is this style of fishing not more readily available in the uk? Great video and cant wait to check out more of your vids.

Last time I used a lure it was a popper on a Dorset beach and I caught a bass .. never owned a dedicated lure set up despite fishing in all disciplines 🤔

I've never fished there myself, seems to be a few in the surrounding area though!
I myself am a reel fanatic but I still got my doubts on bfs when it comes to casting distance, is it really worse than with a spinning setup or isn’t it that bad?
I personally feel I can cast with a lot more accuracy at distances with a bfs reel/setup than I can with a free spool reel/setup

where did you get the rod. Unable to find it in UL anywhere in UK and only the L one here and Japan. Always seems out of stock.

@@destro1989 yep, checked them out, neither has the UL baitcaster. Todber only have the M for ages now. The Day's they do have. Will probably have to get a different brand.

@@destro1989 Yep did think of, Was 149 but Todber just put the price back up. Wanted the Speedstyle though, or something with the stronger bottom half of the blank for those bigger fish. I've made the mistake of buying cheaper rods in the past, and for a change wanted to go straight to something decent.
@@JP-ic2ze Yeah, I've been learning that recently - not that I've broken any rods but if I knew I'd like BFS this much I'd go straight for a higher end rod. I'm happy with my day's at 169 the only reason i didn't go speedstyle was that people were saying it has less guides so it could produce rub.
