I'm not sure I 100% agree with this. He may not always act professional but when he is actually cooking he has a solid focus and admirable skills. Yes he sometimes goofs off and is not at his best when improvising but give him a solid goal and he is very competent. But seeing him serious for 15 minutes straight? that is interesting.
so in conclution , i know that: Jamie = Public Relation / Marketing guy Barry = Designer / Photographer Ben = Chef Mike = Video / Web stuff / Music Is that right ?

You know, before watching this interview I've always wondered what Jamie's role on the team. I mean, I'm not saying that he doesn't do anything, but like we can see how Ben and James deals with the cooking and recipe parts, Mike tackles the tech and music part, and Barry is the creative team and also dealing with the photography. That does make me wonder what Jamie do behind the scene because the guys don't explicitly mention anything about it. Apparently he's the PR and some sort of the manager of the team? So all the deals with Kenwood, Tesco, Lea & Perrins, and all those sorts of thing is thanks to Jamie? That's a really nice thing to know. :D On another note, I'm always curious as to why people kept calling (spelling) him as Jaime rather than Jamie?
Jamie helps with the recipes and also he's like, well I don't know what the word is called, but he books collaborations, deals with meetings kind of a negotiator, something like that
Just gotta say - Jamie is my favourite. His fettuccine alfredo is my go-to recipe. We often say "This looks like a lot of , because this is a lot of ." His recipes out of all of them are more to my taste than the others.
Imagine talking to Jamie about some business deals and seeing him talk professionally. Then do a background check on him and see him in Sia's clothes and in a cow costume.
I've been a fan since they started. I love the face that they're still going - and still making me laugh. I even bought one of the gadgets they reviewed (I bought 5 of it for family members)...... I didn't regret it and I love everything they (still) do. I get some good inspirations from watching the videos - long may they reign :)

It was very soon after they started the company; I don't know the exact timeframe. James had talked about it before, but he had met Ben at university (where Ben had a talk about careers and what Sorted is) and the two got together shortly after as James was impressed with what the guys created as a job/career. He became a development chef in the background, and then he appeared on camera in some quick segments, comment of the week, and then was comfortable enough to be on camera for full vid's and cooking alongside everyone else. He's remarked that he is still going to be a development chef even after picking up his "actual" job in a restaurant kitchen a while back, but I don't think he or Sorted has talked about that, and with Slater, Kush, and Ben, who knows if he actually is. He still shows up for special occasions on the channel just for fun; they're still friends outside of work.
You do realise that's more of a role he's playing right? I mean he does it easily but if the other guys truly didn't like him he'd probably not still be involved (or that they'd still be friends with him for that matter) :)
