Happy Christmas, and have a great new year guys . This is one of the best betting channels on the internet. Thanks for the picks this year and for the next year.
I know you don’t usually do parlays across games but Liverpool and Arsenal to both be winning at half time? So few options on these games individually. Agree Wolves looks a fantastic price. That toxic atmosphere at Molineux will be replaced by a buoyant one after they won that six pointer on Sunday.
Agree it’s a tough slate imo too Also agree that Molineux will seem like a very different stadium come kick off Saturday - then it’s over to the players to keep that positivity high!
Hello guys, all of the Boxing day games are a skip for me (except Bournemouth vs Palace), so I went with fun bets for the holidays:)) Here are my predictions: --- Man.City vs Everton --- City are getting worse each game - each game getting less and less dangerous in attack and making more and more defensive mistakes. I have won a lot betting against City this year (from memory : Bournemouth dnb @4.0 !! and last week Aston Villa 1X + u4.5 @1.90 !). Yet the bookies don't seem to get it and are still backing City... Now City are up against Everton, the team that drew both Arsenal and Chelsea 0-0. In the last few games Everton have brought the parking-the-bus low-block tactic to new heights, it is almost beautiful in a way lol. That being said my bet is: X2 Everton @3.35 !! Correct score 0-0 @17.00 is crazy value (though I am afraid that Everton might score. yes City are that bad...) --- Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace --- Bournemouth are on fire right now, playing great attacking football and always looking dangerous with loads of shots and shots on target. Crystal are dipping in form right now and probably very tired , they played twice against Arsenal in one week. Also Eze seems to be out for this game.... My fun pick is: 1 Bournemouth + Dango Ouattara over1.5 shots + Semenyo over 0.5 shots on target combined gives @5.80. I am going big with Bournemouth AH -1 @2.55 ! (if they win by 1 its a refund, win by 2 or more you win) --- Chelsea vs Fulham --- I don't see Chelsea as title contenders as their defense is simply too inconsistent ; I am sure that they will starting dropping points soon. Even Everton looked dangerous against them ! That game could have ended 0-1 were it not for a couple of Sanchez saves. Fulham have shown to be capable of parking the bus and waiting for the counter (lost a lot on their 1-1 draw against Arsenal !). Skip this one... For this game I would do a fun live bet : watch the first 10min ,see if Fulham are low-blocking , if yes place X @5.10 or even 2 @7.00 if Chelsea are getting caught in the counter. BTTS @1.50 ,Chelsea win @1.50 look like traps and never ever bet on anything Jackson related. --- Newcastle vs Villa --- I am not too convinced by Villa this season. Yes they beat City , but I don't think Rogers and co. will be able to run through the Newcastle midfield like they did against that washed City one. Newcastle are in great form with Isak looking better than ever , last two league games they trashed Ipswich and Leister 4-0 both. But be careful about recency bias , Newcastle are also inconsistent when chasing a result (their loss against West Ham cost me a lot...); 1-X-2 on this game could be a trap and is a skip for me ( Villa to win @4.10 is also a skip). If you are betting big , stay away from Newcastle. Going with fun bets here : I have feeling Villa are going to get trashed here but I don't quite like the odds on ML 1 and dnb , I'm going with : Newcastle over 3.5 goals @ 7.00 ! This would also be a good game for live betting , if Newcastle score first I'm sure they will keep scoring, so them to score the 2nd,3rd,4th should be @1.50 , 2.00, 3.00 , etc.. and of course Villa to win @4.10 is fun. --- Nottingham vs Tottenham --- Forest have really proven to be good defensively in their last game against Brentford where they won 0-2 .Brentford at home usually score 3 or more !! Tottenham games have been crazy recently with their results being closer to tennis sets (3-6 against Liverpool , 4-3 against United, 3-4 Chelsea) than to football. This game is a skip for me with btts @1.40 a reasonable pick. It seems impossible to predict 1-X-2 in Tottenham games - Forest to win is a massive trap imo , not worth it @2.50... But I do have a hunch that the crazy trend will continue: over 6.5 goals total is @17.00 ! Add in Wood, Elanga, Solanke, Kulusevski, Johnson to score for a combined @251.00.
--- Southampton vs West Ham --- Southampton are slowly turning to the dark side of park-the-busers and West Ham struggle to break low-blocks. Are West Ham good enough to beat the bus ? West Ham win could be a trap one should never bet on Southampton - skip this game for 1-X-2 and goals. That being said ,Bowen is their best player and has the ability to dribble 2-3 guys and make a shot/pass. I like Bowen to score or assist @2.10 and Bowen over 1.5 shot on target @2.95.
--- Wolves vs United --- Wolves are bad but with a new manager (I do believe in new manager bounce ! ). Man.U are still experimenting but pretty unimpressive. I like Wolves over 1.5 goals @2.55 as they do have good attackers in Cunha and Guedes but overall skip is the best option. --- Liverpool vs Ipswich --- Liverpool to win is @1.09 lol - super low value and so are other lines backing Liverpool. Liverpool could be tired after their game against Tottenham and might rotate heavily, not pushing to score as much as possible and happy with a close win (1-0, 2-0, 2-1,...).If the do rotate: Leicester AH+3 looks super good , if they lose by two or less you win (1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 3-1...) ,if the lose by 3 exactly (3-0,4-1,...) it's a refund , and a loss with 4 or more (4-0 , 5-0 , 5-1...). Surely Ruud would want to save some face and not get smashed 5-0 here. --- Brighton vs Brentford --- Like the draw @4.50 , skip otherwise. --- Arsenal vs Ipswich --- Values are too low to back Arsenal directly. Saka is out for them and Delap is back for Ipswich. Arsenal might be tired and rotate their key players. Similar to the Liverpool reasoning I like AH+3 for Ipswich @1.40 but it is quite low. I like Trossard over 0.5 shots on target @1.70. I also like Arsenal under 6.5 corners @2.55 , yes under corners !! They don't try to "bait out" corners for some weird reason , even with them having the best set pieces in the world ! I lost a lot backing Arsenal corners...
Palace did look leggy, but they also gave up the fight completely in the second half against Arsenal. Now is this bc they were saving energy, or bc they were completely out of battery, is the question to be answered.
Palace are an overs team rn. Do not bet unders bc punters still think they are being managed by Roy Hodgson, while their attack has looked good. More like an over 2,5 and btts team.
Not so sure it's the syndicates betting City. Surely they have competent people analyzing the depth of city's problems. There are also a lot of casual punters who bet on historic (=antiquated) data, based solely on previous seasons. Say the premise is city to win at home, against a relegation candidate; win probability ~85%. Now the current price Your getting for that eventuality is 75%, so a lot people still think there's value there to be had.
