Great show as always chaps. With so many UK based guys on the shows I wondered if BetRivers had any plans to launch over this side of the pond?
@@markb6741 unfortunately not . Betrivers has lots of other shows, podcasts , channels covering many other sports and topics this is the only one that covers UK sports.

I know Graham Potter well from his time in Sweden (Östersund) and transformed that "crappy" team to a team that made headlines in Europe. Also, remember what he did with Brighton...In a short period of time he made them to a force to be reckoned with. He asks a lot from his offensive midfielders, just look at the the numbers...With Chris Hughton Seagulls had like 150-215 high turnovers...When Potter left Brighton, they had 377! Also, the defensive "actions" was much higher. More tackles, more fouls. I expect to see a very fired up Hammers. Lost this fixtures last term, but before that - solid home record vs Fulham. Mo Kudus had 4 attempts in this fixture last term. Three of wich outside the area. Collected 6 yellow cards last season...Over 1,5 Fouls @2,50. Score @4,33. Shown a card @5,50. Combo: SAC + Score outside area @56,00.
@@stevenholmdahl1162 great analysis . Good luck
Nigel will be all over the PPDA..... Thanks for the comment - great info, stats and angles in. Always a top opportunity in the props market with a new manager - especially one with a specific or contrasting style. Good luck with your bets.
lovely stuff!!! - he was the XG king at Brighton... and I remember his Ostersund team beat Arsenal at Emirates!
@@Jack_Wright Agree Jack! You are red hot as usual. Awesome work!
@@danroebuck6082 I know! And during the last months of 2024 they were on the brink of bankruptcy. Had to play a playoff just to stay in Superettan "Second division" in Sweden. Small, small "town" from the north of Sweden, where the snow starts falling in september and melts away in may.
Liverpool went pretty much full strength v Accrington Stanley. Eh? 😂 A defence with Kelleher, Endo, Quansah, Tsimikas. A midfield with Morton and Elliott and a 16 year old on the left wing. Nunez isn't currently the main choice up front either.
fair shout Rory!!! any bets this midweek?
No draw and over 2.5g at Brentford No Draw and under 3.5g at Nottingham over 2.5g at Westham Newcastle ML & TT over 1.5g & 1.5g in the 2H Man United ML and over 2.5g

Think both teams would be pretty content with a draw at Forest - but good luck with your bets - thanks for sharing!
@@Jack_Wright almost none of the H2h and recent league results ended in draws, i expect a 1-0 maybe 2-0 game. good luck with yours
Nigel saying Emma Raducanu is not top 100 quality. What an absolute 🤡 !
Good show! Just checked the score now and it's 27-9 to L.A
Guys I took Ostapenko o21.5 games last night and if you saw how that hit i was in awe lol
Came back here to tell Nigel to give Emma a little bit of respect... and maybe find another job 😂😅
As for squad numbers, we (man city) played a Mexican team in pre season, who had several players with 3 digits on the back. Was so weird to see
Incredible scenes 😂
On shirt numbers there was talk Aston Villa were going to line up 1-11 for the cup tie with West Ham last weekend - attracted the attention of sellers in the market @ 37 - false info and they included Kamara wearing 44! Settled at 51 with Rogers and Onana scoring.
whaatt!!!!! that's crazy!!! - word of warning for anyone playing the spreads in the Eredivisie... Sparta Rotterdam don't have squad numbers... they go 1-11 every league game... they found a loophole in the league rules that allows them to... they dont have squad numbers....!!
really enjoy these fireside chats....
hey guys epl is finally back:) great show as always. Here is my analysis: --- West Ham vs Fulham --- The disasterclass Lopetegui is finally out ! No clue why big clubs ever hired him (Real ,Wolves ..) Anyways, I'd say west ham looked decent in possession against villa in the fa cup , particularly impressive was Summerville who was always a real threat on the ball. Him and Paqueta seem to have a really good synergy, they almost scored exatly the same goal twice ! (summerville cutback to paqueta, paqueta first time low driven shot) Out of possession Potter setup a weird sort of system (compact in the middle, but somehow also man marking with a super agressive press) , still I felt that he gave too much space on the wings , leaving fullbacks isolated 1vs1 (I think coufal got beat 3-4 times in 1v1). The amount of space they were leaving behind by pressing so high , it just looked wrong - looked like a single good pass could completely tear them apart. Don't forget that villa are in a mediocre form right now and play this boring safe build-up style and didn't dare to go for riskier passes. Fulham are the opposite : they are experts in direct football and incisive through balls , maybe even top in the league in terms of that. Based on how weird west ham looked out of possession against villa , I'd argue there is no way that they keep a clean sheet. That coupled with the summerville-paqueta connection argues for BTTS @1.55 but might be a trap as the Potter sample size is n=1. The 1-X-2 odds are also not that great for big betting .. but I do lean towards fulham win: I like fulham AH-1 @3.70 . Summerville, Crysencio to assist @5.70 also super good ! Paquetá, Lucas to score anytime @4.70 also ! Paquetá, Lucas 2 or more goals is @34.00 !! Given how chaotic west ham look : half time 1 , fulltime 2 @24.00 is really good ! or even 2/1 at the same odds. --- Chelsea vs Bournemouth --- Ok, listen to this: bmouth draw no bet @4.10 (2u) ! Bmouth continue to impress me round after round, most of their games they create so many big chances; don't forget they beat city and arsenal (i won big for a bmouth dnb @4.00 or so against city) ! Yes, they are missing Evanilson, but I think they will do fine without him as they are super well organized. Chelsea just can't control games , I guess it's because the average team age is 20 lol . Even if they take an early lead, they cannot manage to keep it ;they try , but it doesn't work. I think Maresca must force them to always attack, so that they get a comfortable lead ( 3 goals) to be safe from defensive fck ups. I don't see chelsea keeping a clean sheet and I don't see them smashing bmouth, I think Maresca will attempt to control the game and that will backfire. btts @1.50 is also super good, but im going with the dnb ! The player market for chelsea in not that great, for bmouth i like Ouattara, Dango to score @5.80 - he scored twice in the fa cup and usually has a lot of chances but is quite wasteful. 1/2 is @36.00 ! crazy considering how shaky chels are and definitely in the realm of feasible. --- Brentford vs City --- Is it time to fade city ? brentford draw no bet @3.75 which is good, but still low to make a big profit. I'd say the time is not quite now - i'm actually hoping city win big time , to fade them against psg. I am going to put this dnb bet in some sort of system, I'd skip it for serious betting. I also like Brentford win -1 handicap @11.00 ! (2-0 , 3-1,...) Given how bad city are in defense : 2/1 (half time city, fulltime brentford) @36.00 !! seems way too high. --- Forest vs Liverpool --- Liverpool have dropped in form ; they are so weird... At the start of the season they did not look like title contenders , but they did win (only barely, and often lucky). Then in the champions league they play like gods , and now December in the epl (games against leicester, west ham) they looked like the best team in the world - only to then draw against a terrible manu ?? I think that they are back to their low scoring form , similar to the start of the season. I guess teams have figured them out ,shutdown salah and liverpool struggles (tho gakpo is dangerous ). Forest are on fire rn, winning 6 in a row and almost always keeping a clean sheet. Don't forget that they beat liverpool 0-1 in the reverse fixture ! dnb forest @4.00 (2u) is my pick of the round !! For higher odds I quite like: correct score 1-1 @7.00 and X/1 @11.00 (basically a repeat of their previous encounter) --- Aston Villa vs Everton --- AVL games are skip for me , i just can't trust them at all ; I would stay away from this game. Maybe Rogers, Morgan to score @4.10 for a system bet ? --- Newcastle vs Wolves --- I keep winning on AH-1 on Newcastle , this time AH-1 is @1.50 not that great... Newcastle will have their 100% best squad with Schar and Botmann back , Wolves have Cunha back but Semedo out. The bookies caught up on the Newcastle trend , unfortunately I don't see any value backing them here. I did spot a tendency with Newcastle : if they take the lead (1-0, 2-0) they won't push too much for more (like 3-0 ,4-0) , but will tend so sit back a bit. Wolves AH+1 @2.55 still low, seems bookies are aware... Skip this game. Murphy, Jacob to assist @4.00 or Cunha, Matheus two or more goals @26.00 (lol, but too high imo, he can score two screamers); these two for a system bet. --- Leicester vs Crystal Palace --- Leicester are bad in defense and Palace is on decent form. I think Palace AH-1 @2.55 (1u) is good here, but the win won't be super convincing (like 1-0 or 2-0). Palace have so much attacking quality and should be doing better. Mateta, Jean-Philippe 2 or more goals @11.00 for a system bet. --- Arsenal vs Tottenham --- As per usual , Tottenham = skip. I have a lean towards X@5.10 ! I think that Tottenham have stopped with the crazy high line (because their cbs are missing) and look more solid now - but at the price of not attacking so much. Arteta is turning Arsenal into such a boring team, what happened to the Arsenal 2 seasons ago when they would smash everyone 5-0 every round ? Now they are happy to score 1 (from a corner usually) and waste time... Under 1.5 goals @6.10 looks very good ! --- Ipswich vs Brighton --- Skip for me on 1-X-2 and goals for anything serious. Ipswich to win @3.70 looks decent as they are super tricky and Brighton are in drawish form. Delap over 1.5 shots on target @4.60 also looks good:) --- United vs Southampton --- Ivan Juric has not managed to revive Southampton, though he did stop the build-from-the-back nonsense. Yes he lost all the games, but Southmapton was going for wins since that is the only way of staying up. I guess he (Ivan) agreed with the club to play attacking and never to go for the draw , which must be weird to Juric since he is the definition of a draw merchant. United to win @1.30 is terrible , Southampton 2 @11.00 (for a system) , Onuachu, Paul shot on target @2.00 maybe ... overall skip this one. --- Picks of the round --- bmouth draw no bet @4.10 (2u) , forest draw no bet @4.00 (2u) , Palace AH-1 @2.55 (1u) --- Acca --- 1. Fulham X2 @1.45 2. chels v bmouth btts @1.50 3. brentford v city btts @1.50 4. forest v liv under 3.5 @1.55 5. arsenal v tott under 3.5 @ 1.66 6. newcaslte + btts @2.10 7. palace win @1.95 TOTAL: @36.00 --- System bet --- 1. West Ham vs Fulham : 1/2 @24.00 2. Chelsea vs Bournemouth: 1/2 @36.00 3. Brentford vs City: 2/1 @36.00 4. Forest vs Liverpool : X/1 @11.00 5. Newcastle vs Wolves: Cunha two or more goals @26.00 6. Leicester vs Palace : Mateta, Jean-Philippe 2 or more goals @11.00 7. Arsenal vs Tottenham : correct score 1-0 @9.00 8. Aston Villa vs Everton: Rogers, Morgan over 1.5 goals @30.00 9. United vs Southampton: 2 @ 11.00 10.Ipswich vs Brighton : Hutchinson 2 or more goals @36.00 go for 3/10 (triples ,120 of them), put £5 for fun:) Getting at least three right gives you approx. £325

@danroebuck6082 I'm very confident you'll be the one losing money. Liverpool are going to smack Forest.
Thank you fellas! Goodluck cash them tickets
If they cannot see the difference between Moyes and Dyche they are totally blocked when it comes to football. Dyche is a scrap heap hunter while Moyes have taken West Ham to European title not a long time ago. One can say Dyche is the firefighter used for what he can while Moyes is the carpenter who know how to build teams.
Not much in tactics between the two and Everton will set up the same tonight .
You cannot compare what West Ham have/had in forward areas to what Everton currently have. Moyes knows he will have to cut his cloth accordingly - in the short term - so more of a tailor than a carpenter....
I can't see Moyes playing expansive football from the off... given some money, maybe, next term... he'll set them up hard to beat for now surely... meet the new boss... same as the old boss!!! - what's your best play on the midweek game v Villa?

Any professional punter (not that I am one!), will tell you that the route to making profit on sports betting is to bet the price rather than the outcome and I think Nottingham Forest are a case in point here. Surely they've got to be worth a poke at around 9/2 at home to Liverpool given the recent form of the two sides and the fact that Forest won the reverse fixture? I'm going to be having a go!

Yes! Lets go Nigel!!
I like Fulham to win , or fulham to score more than 1.5 goals. Hard to look past Fulham West Ham now with a Potter for new coach, but massive injury problems in thier squad with Bowen, Summerville, Antonio & Fullkrug all out for this one. Will need time to adapt to new style. On the other side is fulham, who is unbeaten since end of November also they Scored 2+ goals in 6 of their last 8 matches.
The London Stadium will be rocking - well for the first 10 minutes anyway. .
Will be interesting to see how Potter sets them up given the absentees - guess its Danny Ings up top. May need to borrow that magic wand off his namesake.
it's the price that puts me off.... favs away at West Ham?!! good luck tho!!
Take out the Newcastle and Man United games and it could be one of those cards with big draw potential including the North London derby.
It’s a match where we just can’t trust either side .
A trappy slate - but one that looks to have a few decent opportunities.
draws in the EPL are at a very high rate atm... 28.14%... the regression is for fewer draws from here on in.... but the midweek card is tough to call!
Could newcastle put liverpool under pressure in the league: They play each other in the league last fixture in february. In the meantime Liverpool play forest/bmouth/brentford/man city away plus ipswich+ wolves at home. 10/12 points. Plus they have champions league x 2 matches +need to come from behind in the carabao cup. Newcastle play wolves/fulham/forest/bmouth at home plus soton+man city away. They have a carabao cup tie v arsenal no champions league.Isak is on fire-he is key. 150/1 for the league. By the time they play liverpool they could be within 5/6 points. I reckon they could be 25/1 to win the league by then. For the pizza money i'm prepared to find out.
They could be the bet without Liverpool I can see that happening .
The Toon making making full advantage of no European commitments - as a neutral would be great to see them get involved in a title race.
not the worst shout at all!!!
For future reference, it's pronounced My-Shack. Also, Carreno Busta losing to who he's lost to - both in 3 sets - is not a great justification for Kamil. Would say that not trusting the physicality in best of 5 is a better reason. Last year CH was when he was still getting his feet under him and on clay. I've gone PCB -1.5 games S1 to attack him having a fairly large talent edge but doing so early on before he may wear down.
A few other things: 1) Can NPD hit through Jovic without committing too many errors? That's going to be tough. 2) Even if crowd support was actionable, Melbourne has one of the largest Greek disaporas in the world and the Australian Open is FAMOUS for the Greeks in the crowd. I don't think you can bet based on crowd support, but even if you could, I highly doubt there's any significant edge there for Camila.
Forrest plus one is tempting
It came very close to being a official play from Nigel
Lot of love for Forest! Let's hope we will see the Wood for the Tricky Trees.....
That was what they call a Dad joke from Nigel
One for Nigel. Why did the boy fall off his bike? Someone threw a fridge at him. (...And then flew off)
Bournemouth have got so many injuries, betting on Bournemouth is money straight down the drain
They did very well against a good West Brom side at the weekend in the FA Cup.
@ you can’t compare West Brom to Chelsea
@ I am not . I am saying that Bournemouth played well against a decent West Brom side at the weekend .
They do have a lot of injuries but can the back up players step up - still some good talent in the group. Iraola had a great record against Barcelona and RM in Spain so knows how to set up as a big underdog. I mentioned Ouattara during the show and he is +155 for a shot on target - which I think is a nice price. Scored as a sub vs Fulham, 4 shots 2 on target vs Everton and scored twice in that win of West Brom. Averaging a shot on target every 110 minutes in the EPL this season and only made 8 starts.
i take it you've jumped off the Cherries train??!! Overs for me at the Bridge!
Any bounce for Everton? I doubt it
I don’t think much changes under Moyes
Of course there will be. Comparing him to Dyche is ridiculous. Moyes won a European cup for West Ham for crying out loud, look where they are with out him. Everton win or draw.
Can't see there being too much change - Moyes has the better CV but he's not got a lot to work with at Everton currently.
@Jack_Wright as he did in his first stint, arguably it was worse as no money. My comment is more based on rest of season but I still think he'll get something from this game. Dyche didn't even have a style bar defend and hoof. Moyes likes attacking fb's, he had Baines and Coleman who in their prime were 2 of the best in the league especially getting crosses in. DCL has had no service. Definitely think we'll see a different Everton with moyes at helm.
@@fgafootballIt really depends on who he can get in in January. Looking through the Everton squad, apart from Pickford, there’s no one that jumps out as being a top player. Southampton and Leicester are worse but it’ll take all of Moyes’ experience to keep yous ahead of an improving Ipswich and an improving Wolves.
I like Arsenal and under 4.5. Evens
That looks good .

Brighton looked very good again in the cup. They were very sharp up front with some key players back, 1-3 to Brighton.
