Wow this is gorgeous! I appreciated seeing your process how you created the northern lights.. I tried painting one myself a couple months ago that is a little different (totally an experiment and I am a total novice when it comes to painting) and had so much fun with it! I wanted to do it again but on a bigger canvas and slightly different from my first one. Hope to see more of your videos, you are a gifted artist! 😊
Great tutorial! I see the northern lights where I live and photograph them and you can definitely see stars when the lights are out, not as many as a new moon but you can still see them. I'm excited to try this tutorial.
Excellent content, nicely presented! A favour though: would you please consider recording your videos in landscape orientation instead of portrait? It would make the details so much easier to see. Thanks!
I just paint with acrylics for fun. I’ve wanted to get into oil painting but the fire risks and having to dispose of your chemicals just doesn’t appeal to me. Are quick drying oils like this any easier for new oil painters? Do you have any introductory materials you recommend?
I really want to try the fine mist sprayer but in Indonesia they don't sell it. Want to try buying from abroad, but afraid of risk of leaks on the way 🥲
There are slow drying acrylics out there and mediums you can use to lengthen that drying time as well. Find them and use small canvases or painting paper to practice. Would probably be best if you just used oils tho.
I have finally found someone who can explain this process to me... thank you 🙏🏻
I think many of us have now learned that yes, you can see lights while seeing the northern lights!
You need to make more tutorials. One of the best I have ever seen
Aw, that’s so kind! I feel like I suck at them. It’s so hard for me to break down my creative process because I just do it without thinking 😂
@@RivkaWilkinsArt lol I know what you mean, but you do it really well
It’s just wonderful,thanks for the method👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🥰
Pleeeeeeeease do more tutorials!!!! Love your work!
Beautiful and magical!

I love hearing that. I usually get one or two people criticizing the realistic side of my art, so I wasn’t exactly sure wether it was true or not 🥺
you are from?you are luckyy
Weldone dear really satisfying and impressive paniting you made dear
When is the next video, your painting is so relaxing

It's beautiful, thank you for sharing Rivka x
Thank you for taking the time to do this tutorial, it’s very helpful
Please please please do some more tutorials. I love your videos so much 🥺🥺🥺🥺
Beautiful! Could this be done with acrylic paint? Or is it too thick?
Maybe acrylic paint with a slow drying medium mixture will work
Very useful technique for the aurora borealis and the result, thank you !
I’m excited to try this!
Beautiful piece
Hi, huge fan of your work. May I ask, was that a black canvas or did you paint it with the Paynes Grey ahead of time?
Painted with Prussian blue and pthalo green
@@RivkaWilkinsArt You painted a white canvas with those two or was the canvas already black? Thanks!
Could this work with heavy acrylic? Possibly Medium?
Amazing! Thank you so much for sharing!
Great job! I'm going to try it later this week! Thank you for the share.
Thank You So Much For Showing Us 💕
Beautiful video, thank you for sharing!
Is the canvas black or do you use something to prep the canvas?

You may want to try water soluble oil paints, no paint thinner required. You just use water to thin the paint.
Thanks for sharing Rivka ✨
Your tutorial is the only one that worked for me. I used acrylic and sprayed with a fine mist sprayer to keep wet
I really want to try the fine mist sprayer but in Indonesia they don't sell it. Want to try buying from abroad, but afraid of risk of leaks on the way 🥲
@@aureliagst you can use any sprayer tho
@@aureliagst just spray from afar so the droplets aren't big
@@katiaaguirre2519 shouldn't it be with a spray for acrylic paint? or just plain water?
@@katiaaguirre2519 Just spray with water? Not with special water?
I had no idea your paintings were oil based. Thank you so much for sharing! Stunning as always!
So beautiful !
Love the video! Is that a black canvas? Have you tried northern lights in acrylic? Haven’t tried oils yet only acrylic
❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much for the tutorial
You can also tell the new colors you used and the names of the green colors you used
Would this work with acrylics? Oils just are not in my budget sadly :( or do you have any alternatives for acrylics to be able to do this?
Add a retarder or medium to thin the acrylic paints and use the same colors.
you could try a retarder fluid. maybe that could work. but never tried it that was wat a friend suggested when i was having the same question
Uou
Que coisa

you are absolutely AMAZING I saw on your insta that you mentioned classes but I couldnt find them on your website?
Gorgeous! 😍😍😍
What kind of color you used? Can i use acrylic?
Beautiful
Wow that’s so great. Can I do this with gouache the same?
Could this work with acrylic paint?
Have you ever tried applying your medium to the canvas first then add the colors 😁
Nice work 🥰
Best tutorial
Thank you so much!
Wanderful 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Love this!!!!
Do you paint it black or do you buy pre done black canvases?
^ this as well
will this work with acrylic paint??
Is your underpainting wet or dry? The first coat that looks grey 🤔😊
Dry or she would have black mixed in with her green..
Unless it's liquid clear 🤔
Artist of the millennium..
Can this be done with acrylics?
I buy, how much?
Can I do this with just regular paint ….?
I’m trying to figure out if your using just a black primer canvas or if you painted it black first? Or what you used to get it matte looking
It’s painted black :)
@@RivkaWilkinsArt dumb follow up question, but is that black oil paint?
Is it gesso?
tx so much for this Video
What is the canvas size?
Is your background black?? or gray?
Por qué engañan? No muestra número de brochas,ni nombre de los tonos,ni como mezcla y está editado!😮no recomendable tu pseudo enseñanza
