Now, into the second week of September, it's actually pretty astonishing that Ukraine managed to not only hold the Russians in the northeast and east, but also assault towards Kherson while preparing for a massive assault to take the Russian regional logistics base at Kup'yansk and liberate all the way down to Izium in a matter of days. In ten days, the Ukrainian military reclaimed four times the territory that the previous three months of Russian aggression took. Ukraine is pushing hard to gain alot of its territory back before winter sets in. Then it can defend in the winter after ensuring a near immediate counter attack from Russia due to the damage the Russian losses would have on Putins position.
He can't afford to organize through the winter and wait until spring if his nation gets embarrassed by Ukranian territorial gains. The mobilization has already increased the tension in the country. He would risk too much civil discontent.

It's not necessarily true, just see the difference between when it's a Russian strike, the channel mentions the number of deaths, but when it's a Ukrainian strike, they mention the number of equipment stations targeted. This builds the idea that Russian attacks = killing people, but Ukrainian strikes = pure, and morally good bc they only destroy equipment. The propaganda is ongoing from both sides from the moment they identify each other as enemies, therefor the story will be corrupted even when it's in the making. Also, the Ukrainian "sepratist" would be easily identified as Ukrainian minority "Independance" troups. The colors of the picture are decided by the one presenting it.

@UCajMSPzUSyYS2jYT8hWznjw He states available sources, but he does mention that actual losses may differ.
Personally I think that the Russians sit at around 30k dead and 50k-ish wounded and the Ukrainians are roughly somewhere in that area aswell.
That doesn't mean both sides perform equally well though. For example, I for one I believe that the Ukrainian infantry outclasses the Russians in most regards.
They have more well trained troops on the ground, their guys are generally better equiped, and while both sides deploy large number of hastly trained troops, the Ukrainian rookies are still more motivated and determined, which is a very important factor. The Ukrainian soldier wants to jump in the Russian trench and shoot them in the face. The Russian soldier wants to get his money and go home, he is as motivated and dedicated as a McDonald's employee.
The casualties are more or less even because the Russians simply shell entire grid squares day in and day out for weeks and weeks at a time.
I know you didn't ask, that was just my 2 cents.

    • @perasperaadastra401

@@daniels0376 good point, but russians had heavier losses than Ukrainians. According Ukrainian Ministry of Defence, today, 27.08.2022 russian-terroristic forces lost 47 thousand of killed. This indicates only visually transparented, confirmed by video fixation or by intelligence approve. Of course it sounds more than ASIW or British Intelligence reported week ago about 85 thousands killed and non-return wounded russians). But in that number they didn’t include Rosgvardia (Russian police special forces), LPR/DPR separstists, Abkhaz separatists regiment, Syrian hitmans, Vagner, Liga, Rusich and other near nazi volunteers regiments, regiments of other troops, Belorussian mercenaries etc. So, if count as 25 thousand killed russian forces as per British and Anerican intelligence reported week ago and compare with 44 thousand killed russian -terroristic troops as per Ukraine (which tries to give accurate calculation of losses to western partners) means that another 19 thousand of russian-terroristic losses are all those combatant war criminals who is not in official army losses count. So, Commander in Chief of Ukrainian army - Valeriy Zaluzhnyi 3 days ago reported almost 9 thousand killed Ukrainian defenders. It’s around 4 times less than total russian terroristic forces and 2,5 times less than minimal calculation of US and UK intelligence calculation of only russian army ground forces (except Rosguards and other separatist militia and war criminals detachments).

Based off the interviews I've seen of ordinary Russians from UA-camrs like 1420, full mobilization would receive an overwhelmingly negative response in Moscow and St. Petersburg. It seems the majority of educated or affluent Russians still support the war but only because it hasn't directly impacted their lives, as most the troops in Ukraine are from rural regions, marginalized republics like Chechnya, foreign countries or the LPR and DPR.
