Thank you for your very prompt and well-shot video of the attraction! I already posted my detailed opinions (as I could from California) on WDWNT's video, but I watched this and immediately fell in love with the overlay. I love that this overlay is story-driven in a good way in a manner which makes the most sense in Japan. The storyline about a bunch of impulsive, badly-behaved tourists running amok at famous tourist destinations is timely, well-placed, and culturally insightful. (A very insightful reflection of the Post-COVID tourism reopening of Japan and the resultant behaviours the surge of stir-crazy tourists brought to the country.) The music is actually awesome. Thor's electric guitar solo is already high on my favorites list of "it's a small world" arrangements (but the Polynesian Drum Solo and the misplaced Jazz arrangement in my opinion still beat it). The synchronized lightning strikes with the soundtrack are awesome sauce. Hoping someone leaks the soundtrack soon.
Im a big fan of It's a Small World and I do think this overlay is cute, but cursed at the same time (not good, not bad, just cursed) Even tho I not a fan of thr Disney characters being there (I dont hate them, I'd just prefer if they weren't there) I do think this is a nice temporary overlay. Now if OLC said Small World with Groot was replacing the OG Small World, that'd be a whole diffrent story.
@@King_Purpleflapper It would certainly be strange if Groot had always been in the world of It's a Small World. So it might have been better to have this as a limited edition. However, I'm happy that Tokyo Disneyland has its first tie-up attraction with MARVEL.
Feel free to comment✨
On a scale of 1 to 10, I'm giving this overlay a 100 for creativity. Love Groot throughout the ride.
As strange as this is, I think it looks great . Extremely cute.
@@dannygrau2983 I know it was streange but he was so cute!!!!
