There's a clip then another clip then another clip and another clip followed by a few more clips. Seems like a clip channel to me since it probably has the most clips on the entire channel in one video, conveniently.
As someone with a likely even more so-called shameful amount of time in both versions (over 5,000 hours between five versions on three platforms) I can confirm it is only okay content. It is extremely painful to see someone who claims to have played a lot of even just the flash version do a lot of what he does. I watched Hypnotizd play Rebirth before I made the plunge back before Afterbirth released so I basically knew everything about the game before I ever played it including all of the floor generation and stuff he doesn't appear to even have an inkling of. He's not bad and he is clearly having fun but watching people play things they're good at is where quality content lies. This is just okay.
It's always better to just do the mother levels because of having a second treasure room option + getting the knife to deal dmg and an extra boss item, as long as you are confident you can handle the slight increase in difficult obviously, if you feel you can handle hush and it isn't too late you can just not go to the last 2 rooms.
even for speed its better to do downpour 2 instead of caves 1 because downpour 2 will be the size of a basement floor, and will take you right to caves 2 saving a bit of time. if you can handle the bosses in downpour it can be quite a bit faster.
The second treasure room option is usually not worth it for the same reason you're usually better off skipping the item room on Curse of the Blind. A random unknown item is rarely worth it as it's far more likely to be mid or outright bad then it is to be good, and as such is very much not worth the risk when there are gurenteed options that don't risk killing your run. Downpour 2 for the second boss item is legit tho, and if you're good at the mother chase or just playing a flying character then I can see the merits of also going to Mines 2 to grab the key pieces. But I really wouldn't reccomend heading to Downpour 1 or Mines 1 on any run really.
@@TheWrathAbove idk how likely it is to get a run killing item tbh, but i'd say it's worth it to grab the unknown one if you are already there and see that the know item is shit or just isn't useful to you, like if you are playing Judas and you get a worse active item than the book of belial for example, or if the known item is a run killing item itself. Plus i don't think it's that big of a loss if you get a run killing item in downpour 1 tbh, you really aren't wasting too much time at the second level, unless you have a very good item you don't want to risk.
@@ignaciodemello I mean, it's just not worth it. Downpour 1 is meaningfully harder then Basement 2 and losing your floor 2 devil deal (even when going for angel rooms) is a massive tempo loss. It's just not a good risk especially since keys are not always easy to come by early and there are many scenarios where using the key to get into downpour 1 means you just don't get into the item room on the second floor at which point why are you even on Downpour 1? If you are playing Jacob and Esau then fair enough they get both items, and if you manage to get an early Dream Catcher or Broken Glasses then also fair enough. But otherwise it's generally just not worth it to go alt path for Floor 2. Also I'll note that if you aren't going for a win streak, you should probably be holding R until you first floor gets you a very powerful item that you don't want to risk.
@@TheWrathAbove That's why I said if you can handle the difficulty spike, obviously if you don't feel confident with the downpour and don't have an strong item to carry you, you shouldn't do it because it'll probably result in an overall lose. And yeah, the key thing is smt to account for too, a lot of times entering with only 1 key is not worth it, sorry, I forgot to mention that.
Here it is! I was watching the stream this night, but I had to go to bed and I didn't get to see how this ended... "Now for the Dramatic conclusion of The One Heart Judas Run!!"
You may never see it but for the guy saying he essentially doesn't know how to win with J&E, you need to put the damage and size down on Jacob, the health, defense, and size up on Esau and promptly proceed to treat Esau as a reusable meat Mantle where necessary. While normally you would try your best to avoid damage, the way these two work (especially in the more cramped rooms if you don't have flight which you usually won't) you just need to accept you're going to take damage and lay out their items accordingly. Could do it the other way around too but since Jacob is the one you can individually control and he starts with a higher tear rate too, it's just simpler to get the damage ball rolling in most cases on Jacob and Esau comes with soul hearts so him taking damage is less important than Jacob to start.
I'd also note that because they can take both items from the alt path item rooms, you should actually consider doing downpour and mines on any given run of theirs even if you're not going for Mother.
@@Salati00 You're allowed to walk in to check what's there. You just can't take it if you want future angel deals. Sometimes there are free Sin hearts/Devil Beggars that you can also use without losing angel rooms, which is why you should still enter.
@@Aimlesswaves.If you enter to check what the devil deal has to offer, the next floor’s deal chance will be split between angel and devil. If you completely ignore the devil deal without even entering the room, the next deal you get is 100% guaranteed to be an angel deal.
I feel like someone said "just upload the whole thing" as a joke and they actually just did it, which honestly makes it so much funnier
