great player but you should play a few riffs outside your metal genre thing. a lill funk riff and even a dare I say jerry Garcia type thing, he's the guy that made autowah famous . tapping harmonics not really doing anything to tell me how this pedal sounds. not hating just my very humble opinion keep shredding tho my friend

Cool review as usual ! I actually prefer the sound used in a clean mode . My favorite pedal of all was a big muff I got for 50 bucks . I had a Memphis attack trigger in 1980 that was an auto wah pedal and now this review makes me want another auto wah . Rock on brother !

I bought a electric harmonix (screaming tree treble booster ) I think in early 80s or late 70s from a buddy for $10 still have it works like new.its great for cutting threw the mix with a screaming solo 😎

I like the intro, but disappointed with the demo. I would rather listen to playing while watching knobs being turned to show all the variables. I understand the basics but want to hear how this one sounds different.

A cheap pedal i got off ebay that sounds pretty nice is the Joyo Classic Chorus ;)

Awesome wah pedal
I bought one. a bit brighter than some more classic models but I is fine for my band's dead cover tunes. takes up little space which is perfect for an effect you may use for just a few tunes. Gets close to a Garcia sound, of course its not vintage mutron but they are huge nor cost a fortune

These kinds of effect pedals can be found on Aliexpress and Ebay, some times you have to shop to get the best price. Buying from Ebay gives you more protection as a consumer because of their rules so that is the safest.
This is exactly what I was looking for. Far too easy to find a funk / Garcia envelope filter / auto wah video on youtube. Had almost given up on all the gobbledygook until I happened upon here. I needed to hear something high gain and hear how the filter sweeps behaved while chugging, shredding, and even tapping. Thank you.

The cheapest and most practical was the TC Electronics " the prophet " digital delay, it's a smooth sounding delay, when I heard it I thought it was analog, nope, it's a digital delay, but it has what call a graceful attack

I bought one of these, and compared to pretty much any envelope filter/auto wah, this was the worst. With distortion, sure, it's passable. Clean, skip it. I've picked up a few mini pedals, and so far I have yet to find a decent envelope filter or a decent tremolo in the mini enclosure. With this one, it lacked clarity and broke up just a tad, and the curve/taper of the sweep (sensitivity) is preset in a way I don't like. It's too bad as the reverse envelope feature is cool on the few pedals that have this feature (like the MuTron 3). Obviously I wasn't expecting a MuTron out of this pedal, but it didn't measure up in any area. Seems that an envelope controlled state variable filter just doesn't want to get in a 1590A enclosure. I know it's the price of a round of cocktails at a hotel bar, but a good deal on something you can't use still isn't a good deal.
The Mooer Triangolo is my favorite mini trem. It has tap tempo and there's no volume drop on it at all. It's digital but sounds great.
My 2nd fav mini-trem is the Valeton Wave Shaker. BUT it is a mild one - hard to get real depth or extremes from it. But it has a volume knob to make sure you don't loose volume.

Jep, Autowha needs to be used like Jerry Garcia did, cool and funky.. without too much overdrive.. Its makes the pedal completely useless.. Listen to Shakedown Street from the Grateful Dead, that the shit thats cool

I agree the pedal really got a bum showing here I'm still wondering what it sounds like, I have a neutrino and mutton 3 and when they are dialed in I would be hard pressed to tap harmonics act
