I love the S62, just started my second season with it and I’ll never let it go. It’s such a good looking smart watch I have a leather band to wear it out on the town
Love it mate! I did this with the Epix Gen 2 but I think for pure golf the s62 may be slightly better
I am so glad you are back I missed you. Let’s talk soon
I have the watch and have a few rounds on it. It has been excellent. Sensors look promising.
Love the watch it’s amazing!!
I’ll have to try mine with the trackers, because sometimes it doesn’t pick up my swing.
It is worth the investment I think
Auto caddy is such an amazing feature! From 213 on the 1st hole, it would have been telling me to hit 3 wood. 😂
I have been using the hybrid a lot. I can’t hit my 3w if my life depended on it
I have the S42 but have the club selector disabled. If i put the CT10 on my wedges, do I have to enable club selector? It's just annoying to do after every shot for someone who isn't that good 😂
You would have to pair the watch to the ct10 on the wedges one time. So it would give you accurate information. It is super easy to do. Why would you only do the wedges? I have them with all the clubs. I just had to redo it for the S70 and it honestly it took me less than 5 minutes
Why do you need sensors if the watch tracks distance?
You can get individual clubs stats that are super accurate
@@GolfersAuthority the watch it self does it also with the club prompt option.
@nicolasbitcoin2549 Yeah, but I would say around half of my shots don't register with the watch... Then you have chips and putts which never register. Seriously considering getting the CT10s to track EVERY shot. IF they track every shot.
Thanks for the review! It's always really windy where I play and I was wondering how accurately it gauges a strong wind in your face regarding club selection? Thanks
The watch picks up the weather from the closest weather station so unless it’s across the street from where you’re playing it’s not very accurate. I still love the watch though. I’ve had it for 2 years and it’s great. I just wish the Garmin Golf app was better with strokes gained. It’s where Arrcos prevails
Sorry just saw this, yeah Troy is right. Have you guys seen the S70, if so what do you think?
This is nice. Used the Arccos before and this might be something I can use.
Do you need to pay for any subscriptions?
I think the slope function on the green is an extra 100 USD
I love my Garmin s62 but have yet to jump on the sensors. Looks intriguing though.
I lovve mine, how long have you had the S62
@@GolfersAuthority been using it for about 2 northeast golf seasons 😂 the only thing I don't understand is why there is already some yardage as soon as i hit the ball.
Excellent tracking system but I found the batteries lasted only a handful of rounds before needing changing. Ive switched back to Arccos
Really? I did not know that. How do you recharge them?
@@GolfersAuthority they take standard flat batteries, you have to change them
That’s strange. I’ve played over 38 rounds last year and battery level is still fine.
I have them on my whole set and some seem to drain the batteries and some don’t.
FYI, you don’t need the ct10 sensors for the watch to work for shot tracking or the caddie feature. When you take a swing, the watch will ask you what club you just used. The ct10 sensors simply do that for you, when they work.
The watch won’t pick up chips or putts though. The ct10 will.
Gonna pick up the S70 with the CT10. Garmin looks great!
Good choice!I just got the S70 with the CT10 and just finished the on course video yesterday. I am hoping to release it next week
Never looked in to Garmin tracking. Do you not track putts as well like you do with Arccos and Shot Scope?
Would be interested to see this vs the new Shot Scope X5 that just came out.
Have you ordered the X5?
@@GolfersAuthority No. currently an Arccos user. Looking to switch out of the subscription based service being I only get to golf half the year where I live.
Where do you live? Somewhere cold?
@@GolfersAuthority MN. Courses are still waiting to open, one local opens today for first time of the season. But still below freezing and overcast.
mine takes at least 5 minutes to find a Satellite. I love the distance marker . but i dont think it was worth the money . To get the best out of it you need a subscription to garmin.
I would not buy another one for the price. Next time i will try another .
I have upgraded to the S72 have you seen it?
