    This is the in-depth review of Viltrox EF-M1 adaptor I bought specially for my Panasonic GH5S in order to use my old Canon crop sensor lenses. I kind of compared Viltrox EF-M1 with Viltrox EF-M2 at some stage in this video so please check the video without skip.
    If you are looking to buy Viltrox EF-M1 then check the below link;

    You are missing the main point. One does not buy these just because one is cheaper than the other or even that the efs lenses cannot be used on the efm2
    The fact is, both of these have a different result in focal length.
    If one mounts a wide angle lens on the efm1, it will double the focal length. One will loose the functionality of the wide lens.
    You cannot choose between these 2, each has different functions. One who is serious about photo or video, buys both !

    how about the focal length multiplication? if I use canon ef-s 10-18mm to my lumix, will it stay wide or gonna zoom?

      If it's gh5s then it gets even more wider but if it's gh5 then gets little tighter.

      @@HardikPatelBuzz thank u so much brother, mine is Lumix G85, I guess 10-18mm on it with this ef-m1 won't be equal to 16-28mm then

      @@Fell_Wanderer No, it's 10-36mm. I presume that was a typo.

    Good video, thanks. If I use this to attach a Sigma Nikon mount 150 600 to a Panasonic G9 will the camera be able to control the aperture of the lens?

    Does the aperture adjustment button do the same thing as a declicked aperture on a lens?

    Hello friend recently I brought a cannon EF 400 f 5.6L USM lens for birding. I use Olympus omd em1 Camera body which is my best option Veltrox em1 or em2 autofocus.

    • @HardikPatelBuzz
      @HardikPatelBuzz  4 роки тому +1

      This camera has a 2x crop factor than full sensor cameras,right?
      If so, then your 400mm lens would be giving a same result to 800mm lens on full frame cameras if you use viltrox em1 as em1 doubt have glass in between which could help your crop sensor camera to mimic to full sensor ones.
      In conclusion, if you use em1, crop sensor camera will have no difference but if you use em2 then 400mm lens will remain nearly same as it is to other so sensor camera.
      Auto focus is not so great with any of these filters.

    Hi i want to ask is it better/worse/same thing if you use adapter+ef lens vs real m4/3 lens ?

    • @HardikPatelBuzz
      @HardikPatelBuzz  Рік тому +1

      Real or direct lenses are always better in comparison to connecting to adapter. If you have an adapter in between, a lot of things like focusing, Aputure etc is also dependent on adapter as well, so if the adapter has issues, you get nothing but a frustration.
      Only use an adapter if you believe you want to use the lens which you can't use it on your camera without adapter. If you can afford to buy dedicated lenses then I would suggest you to go with that.
