選手にしろ観客にしろ、純粋にスポーツを楽しむ人達の素直な反応って、こんなにも胸を打つものなんですね。
南アフリカの選手達もフェアプレーで戦ってくれたからこそ、こんなに白熱した試合になったんだと思います。

I was watching this game with my dad who's an ex-rugby player.
He was in tears when the team decided to go for the try.
When our team won, we were jumping up and down with joy :)
It was a wonderful game and I'm really happy cause
rugby here in Japan is not so popular compared to
baseball and soccer but I'm thinking the whole entire nation
will be watching the next game tomorrow!

As for South Africa, well they didn't have much Spring in their Bok.
+Shredz I thought South Africa played brilliant........its just Japan played even better.If you take away the excitement I think it was one of the greatest games of the modern era(in my lifetime anyway!).Like.......from start to finish the game had everything.Two different styles of play clashing like that will always make a good game.It was great to see Japan play a type of game that we dont see all that often,especially on the very top level like this.Theres no question as to if its the greatest shock in the history of international football but it is the quality of the game that hit me.Even when Japan came to lead and draw it,what did South Africa do??
They answered them with tries(and thats all they could do!) and some some of Japans tries could not be defended against as Japan worked them so well.
Japan has suffered alot over the past few years but today was their day,they made themselves proud but they also made the whole of the sports world happy.Heartwarming,well done Japan on achieving the impossible!

ten thousand times bravo to the Japanese team. They showed the world what is to play rugby with guts, heart and soul. It seems SA have lost faith in their ability to scare the opponent team. they have become very ordinary.

They did awesome. Watched this live all the way from Fiji, and it sent a clear message that yes us Tier 2 teams (Fiji included) can topple a Tier 1 nation. Much respect to the Brave Blossoms, you totally deserved the win. Definitely going to tune in and watch them when they go head to head with Scotland this week....and you know exactly who I will be cheering for.
