- They let me fly their TomJets Squall 70mm EDF Jet | Me Like !
After watching their journey to success with this kit built EDF jet I had to be cheeky and ask if I could have a go. Amazingly they said yes and I explored the surprisingly wide flight envelope of this very slippery and fast delta.
Trevor glassed this model by using Deluxe Materials EZE-Kote. A lot easier and less messy than using epoxy!

Thanks to @Flyingfinn0 for letting me have a go !

You could have reduced the speed a lot more and high alpha that landing. Nice jet. Im thinking about it
I wouldn't do that until I had flown it a few more times. High alpha is risky. Don't get it right and it stalls in hard.
Always wanted one but no time to build one.
They are super quick to build, airframe can be built in a couple of evenings,
Awesome!❤ Smdh! PS. That nose dive😂💀, it needs some wheels
The larger 120mm EDF Squall comes with retractable landing gear. We're giving that serious thought as a future project 😉
LOL Not exactly the best place for the air intake for belly landings Dom!! Please replace your divots!!
It acts as a good brake for landing. We just have to remember to clear the duct of muck before the next launch 😆
